How To Design Your Ideal Life ft. Joshua Heares // VIDEO.
Joshua Heares is the man behind the brand ‘Porter James Sport’.Formerly working within the branding & advertising industry, Josh had reached a milestone in his corporate career by the young age of 26, appointed as a manager of the company, working with well known brands from across the world. Despite the early 'success' he was having, he couldn't help but feel as though there was a missing piece of the puzzle as he looked down the barrel of his future within the corporate world.A conversation with a respected mentor prompted Josh to ask the question 'how do I find my dream job?' to which his mentors answer would change the trajectory of Josh's life & career. The answer was simply a question asked of Josh, 'what does your ideal day look like?'. That question spurred on the creation of a brand that gave Josh the freedom of schedule to do what he loves & set his life up around it. An internal decision to build something that not only lights a fire in his belly, but fuels a life by design. In this episode we discuss:- Identifying what is truly important to us in the process of designing your ideal day.- Strategising your exit & entrance into the next chapter of your life.- The purpose behind 'Porter James Sport'.- The power of love & surrounding yourself with quality people.- Learning to say no to things that don't serve us & respecting your own time.- The brand identity of 'Porter James Sport'.- Josh's message to the world.Be sure to follow Josh & I on socials: (Insta/TikTok) @bradleyjdryburgh & @joshuaheares @porterjamessportsCheck out Porter James Sport here: https://porterjamessports.com/Follow/Subscribe to the show on your platform of choice, leave a 5 star rating & kind review to help us reach new listeners & uplift others like yourself around the world & share the episode with a mate that would find it valuable!Big love,Brad xx Hosted on Acast. In 2018, like many young Aussie men, Alex Noble's primary focus in life was to attain a career as a professional rugby league player, get girls & look good. In a bid to lift their spirit, Alex spoke his first words 5 days after the accident. 5 words that would change the trajectory of his life forever, define the foundation of his mindset & inspire millions of Australian's in the process of his recovery. The words: 'If I fight, you fight' left Alex's mouth & with those words, a fire was lit & it still burns bright today. This is only the start of Alex Noble's story. 3 Mates Share Their Top 5 Core Values Pt 2 // VIDEO.
*This is part 2 of our core values episode. If you haven't yet heard part 1 in which Tye & Joey share their top 5 core values, I suggest tuning into that first. In this part 2, you will hear Brad's take as the boys continue to discuss the role that values & actions play in being a 'good man'. In the name of vulnerability, Brad (The Captain) has come together with 2 of his best mates Tye (Phoony) & Joey The Zoolander) for a series of episodes to tackle some of life’s big questions, topics & the tough stuff that we so often choose to battle in solitude. The aim is to inspire you to connect with your mates in vulnerability & hold space for each other on the foundation of unconditional love & support, whilst encouraging positive mental health. The boys feel so blessed to have the incredible friendship they do & it’s no coincidence that our depth of conversation has created such strength in our bond. This week they delve into the topic of CORE VALUES. To set the tone of the episode Brad shared a written piece on 'what it means to be a good man', eluding to the point that 'good men show up in the world according to their values, even or maybe more importantly, when the world isn't working in their favour'. As always, the lads were set a piece of homework to bring to the episode, & this week, their task was to define their top 5 core values & an action that aligned with all of those values to ensure they are showing up in the world that way.It was an honest & vulnerable conversation in which the 3 mates got real with the values that have challenged them & the importance of those in which they identified as their top 5. Enjoy another vulnerable episode full of valuable & actionable insight with the 3 mates.Be sure to follow the boys on socials @bradleyjdryburgh @joeplumb_ @phoony103Follow/Subscribe to the show on your platform of choice, leave a 5 star rating & kind review to help us reach new listeners & uplift others like yourself around the world.Big love xx Hosted on Acast.
