Dr. Vemulapalli moved to Houston, TX where he specializes in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedic Trauma Surgery after finishing his undergraduate degree (Magna Cum Laude) at Wake Forest University, where he moved to the University of Texas where he completed his medical degree, residency, and fellowship.  Also, he joins national organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the American Orthopaedic Association Emerging Leaders Program, and AO Trauma. We also have Dr. Barrett Hawkins who joined us on the podcast episode. He is a current Orthopaedic surgery PGY-3 at Tulane University SOM, and future Orthopaedic Traumatologist. He shares enthusiasm for complex pelvic injuries and has joined the show with his co-resident Dr. Cole. She is a New Hampshire native who graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry in 2000 and the University of Rochester School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine in 2006. She did her orthopaedic residency and fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at Brown University.Dr. Mulcahey then completed a sports medicine fellowship at San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine. During her fellowship, she worked with San Diego Padres (MLB) and San Diego State University team coverage.In 2016, Dr. Mulcahey was one of four surgeons chosen for the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) Traveling Fellowship.Also, Dr. Mary Mulcahey joined Tulane's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery as the Director of the Women's Sports Medicine Program in April 2017. Dr. Mulcahey has been essential in the creation, development, and leadership of a holistic approach to the care of active women in that capacity.

Dr. Brian Cole graduated in the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his residency in Orthopedics at Hospital For Special Surgery/Cornell Med Center. Moreover, he completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Brian Cole is a well-known orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine for knee, shoulder, and elbow .  Dr. Cole is also the current president of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and holds leadership positions in multiple societies in the field of sports medicine. He is the chairman of surgery at Rush Oak Park Hospita and is the head team physician for the CHicago Bulls NBA team, co- team physician for the CHicago White Sox MLB team and DePaul University in Chicago.He has published over 1000 articles and has given numerous national and internal talks on a variety of subjects. In 2009, he was recognized by his colleagues as one of the top 20 sports medicine, knee, and shoulder experts over the past five years and was selected as NBA Team Physician of the Year. Since 2004, he has been named one of the "Best Doctors in America" and a "Top Doctor" in Chicagoland since 2003. Also, Dr. Brian Cole is a professor of orthopaedics, anatomy, and cell biology at Rush University Medical Center and an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. Dr. Dacus is a Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery where he specializes in Orthopedic surgery and sub specializes in Hand and Upper Extremity. Moreover, Dr. Dacus completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine, and after completing a fellowship in hand and upper extremity at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Dacus entered the department in August of 2007. During his time here, his specialty has expanded exponentially, and gained expertise in joint replacement in the hand and elbow, reverse complete shoulder arthroplasty, and microvascular surgery of the hand and upper extremity.
