Short Clip | Mass Immigration. Weak Courts. Real Consequences.
🎙️ This week, I sit down with Cam Hardiman — a former Victorian Police officer and federal agent who’s seen firsthand what it’s like to serve on the front line in a country that’s quickly changing.
🚔 From dealing with major crime units to working in immigration enforcement, Cam brings decades of real-world experience to this episode — and he doesn’t hold back.
We dive deep into the current pressure police face, the recent Footscray shooting, and how mass immigration is impacting frontline services — not just on paper, but in the street, in the station, and in the courts.
💬 In this conversation, we cover: 👉 What it’s like to serve as a cop in 2024
👉 The reality of violent offenders walking free
👉 Political pressure, media spin, and frontline burnout
👉 How mass immigration policies are playing out on the ground
👉 What needs to change before things break completely
This one isn’t about headlines.
It’s about the truth from someone who’s worn the badge and still carries what came with it.

Short Clip | You Never Forget That Kind of Silence
This week, I sit down with Simon Jones, a veteran of 2RAR & 8/9RAR who deployed to Afghanistan in 2010—during one of the most intense and unforgiving periods of the war.
🪖 On 21 June 2010, a Black Hawk helicopter went down in Kandahar province.
Three Australian soldiers were killed.
Others were severely injured.
Simon wasn’t on the bird—but he was back at base. And like most soldiers, he still carries the weight of that day.
In this episode, we talk about what it was like to serve during that time—
When every day felt like a coin toss between normal… and chaos.
💬 In this conversation, we cover:
👉 The reality of serving in Afghanistan in 2010
👉 The day the chopper went down—and what it meant for the guys on the ground
👉 How moments like that ripple through a unit
👉 Life back on base vs. life outside the wire
👉 What it takes to transition from warfighter to civvie
This isn’t about war for the sake of it.
It’s about what war takes—and what it leaves behind.

2WC Weekly Debrief #1 | Common Sense is Missing in Action
This week on the 2 Worlds Collide Weekly Debrief, we’re diving into the stories that actually matter — without the sugar-coating.
From Australia’s coal hypocrisy and the chaos in women’s sport, to Greta Thunberg’s climate theatre, Chris Bowen’s energy disaster, the politicisation of ANZAC Day, and rainbow crossings that solve absolutely nothing — it’s time to bring back some common sense.
🔹 No fluff.
🔹 No woke filters.
🔹 Just real talk on what’s happening in Australia right now.
Whether you agree with every point or not, this episode is about getting people thinking, asking questions, and pushing back when things just don’t make sense.

#47 - Nathan Tolman - Bullets, Brotherhood & PTSD
In this powerful episode of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, I sit down with Nathan Tolman—a former Australian Infantry Warrant Officer with over two decades of service across some of the world’s most volatile regions.
From Timor, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Solomon Islands, Nathan shares what it means to lead men in combat, the brutal reality of war, and the lifelong weight it leaves behind.
We go deep on the Battle of Derapet (2010)—one of the most intense firefights Australian soldiers have faced—and the devastating loss of Lance Corporal Jared MacKinney during that battle.
We also explore Nathan’s post-service life, including his ongoing battle with PTSD and how he’s managed to find purpose and stability after war.
This is raw, real, and one of the most important conversations we’ve had on the show

Short Clip | The Battle of Derapet: When Hell Opened in Uruzgan
This week, I sit down with Nathan ‘Tolly’ Tolman, a veteran of 6RAR with over two decades of service and multiple combat deployments—including one of the most significant engagements Australian soldiers have faced in modern history: The Battle of Derapet.
🎖️ On 24 August 2010, in the Tangi Valley of Uruzgan Province, Afghanistan, Australian and Afghan troops engaged in a 3-hour firefight with a heavily armed Taliban force.
One Australian soldier, Lance Corporal Jared MacKinney, was tragically killed. More than 30 Taliban fighters were neutralised. And the men of 6RAR proved—once again—the grit and courage behind the badge.
In this short clip, we dive into that very battle. Tolly shares what it was like to be in the thick of it—facing enemy fire, leading under pressure, and carrying the legacy of the fallen.
💬 In this episode, we cover:
👉 What happened that day in Derapet
👉 Leadership, pressure, and the chaos of combat
👉 The emotional toll of losing a brother
👉 Transitioning from warfighter to civilian
👉 How moments like these shape a soldier forever
This isn’t just a war story.
It’s about honour, reality, and what it means to step into hell and come out the other side.

Short Solo | I Fought for Australia — Not Woke Chaos
This week, I sat down behind the mic on my own to speak about something that’s been weighing heavy.
What did I actually fight for?
Because looking around… it doesn’t feel like the country I served.
💬 In this solo episode, I open up about: 👉 Why kids are being confused instead of protected
👉 How we’re failing young men by calling them toxic
👉 Why fairness in sport is being pushed aside
👉 How everyday Aussies are being locked out of the land they love
👉 What happens when free speech becomes risky
👉 Why so many people feel like strangers in their own country
👉 And the slow decay of the values we once stood for
This is a raw, unfiltered chat.
Not to cause outrage — but to raise awareness.
To say what so many Aussies are thinking, but don’t feel they can say out loud.
It’s not about politics. It’s about common sense.
And if we don’t start speaking up — we’ll lose the very things that made this country worth fighting for.
