Baird first joined First American Exchange in 2006 and has previously served as National Counsel and Western Regional Manager.Baird has been involved in all phases of the 1031 exchange business, including business development, negotiation of documentation; management and oversight of reverse and build to suit exchange transactions; and the facilitation of underwriting decisions.Baird is the immediate past President of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators and is past Director for CREW Denver. She is a frequent speaker and author on 1031 exchange and industry related topics. She is also a former Chair of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of California and she is the prior Managing Editor of the California Real Property Journal. In 2009, Baird was named as one of the "Top 20 Under 40" real estate professionals by the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network. Prior to joining First American, Baird was a real estate attorney in private practice in San Francisco.

He started his career in Colorado, founding his own high-end construction company and growing it to be one of the premier firms in Southwest Colorado. After 20 years in Colorado, Kogan had a successful sale and liquidity event in 2019 and returned to his hometown of Chicago in 2017. Shortly after starting his own building company in 1999, Kogan started investing in real estate with single family rentals, commercial and multifamily rentals and student housing. Over his career, he has completed several townhome, mixed-use and single-family developments totaling nearly a billion dollars in real estate and development transactions. He currently owns over 2800 apartment units and nearly 1300 Student Housing beds. Mr. Kogan has broad based experience and knowledge of multiple real estate asset classes and is focused full-time on growing his private equity real estate firm.

In 2009, Jesse joined Marcus & Millichap’s Indianapolis Office where he focused on the sale of national shopping centers and Triple-Net (NNN) investments. In 2013, Mr. Limon relocated to the Manhattan Office where his focus expanded to include retail in the New York City Metropolitan Area and 1031 Exchange clients, and in 2015, was promoted to Senior Associate with Marcus & Millichap.Since 2009, Mr. Limon has been involved in over 80 closings, totaling over 2.5 million square feet, with a total dollar value of over $400 million. Mr. Limon specializes in the sale of "high street retail" with an emphasis on Net Leased Investments, national shopping centers and single-tenant properties, and portfolios throughout the United States. Mr. Limon attended Indiana University Bloomington and South Bend where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with an emphasis on Economics. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers as well as Marcus & Millichap’s National Retail Group.
