Why We Can't Feel Loved For Who We Are

The human ego is essentially the perception of yourself as a separate self. When you learn to call yourself by a name, you learn to see yourself as an ‘it’ or a ‘thing’, which automatically makes you separate from every other ‘it’ or ‘thing’ in the universe. When you are born, your ego is not formed yet because you do not intellectually conceptualize of who you are because you do not think of yourself as a separate thing yet. So, you do not identify with anything yet.

Why Love Turns Into Hate

You have all heard the sayings: There is a fine line between love and hate. Relationships are essentially a balancing act between love and hate. Haters are just confused lovers. You have to love someone to hate them. The opposite of hate is not love, it is indifference… If you hate someone, you still care.

Why Fans Turn Into Haters - The Psychology of Idolization

To idolize someone is to admire or revere someone excessively. Obviously “excessive” is a matter of perception. It is subjective. One person would feel that putting pictures of someone on your wall (like nearly every teenager does with their favorite celebrity) is excessive admiration. One might feel like that is a perfectly healthy form of appreciation. To admire something and to deeply respect something and to appreciate something is healthy. But there are some key ways that idolization can and does turn negative.

Why Don't We Remember Our Past Lives?

Your eternal aspect is not oriented towards the past; it is always using the past as a platform for what is to come. We are always oriented towards the expansion the improvement. When you come into a new life, you close your eyes to the past, in order to open them to a new existence. The benefit of a new life is a new perspective... other than a perspective that is an accumulation of every other life as well. That would be like trying to listen to a billion channels on a radio at the same time. Our eternal being (often called a soul) manages to be all these channels at once. Which is why you can see your past lives when you withdraw your focus and re-align with your eternal consciousness like when the Buddha was meditating under the Bodhi tree. We come into one singular life focused on this singular life.

Why Do Some People Hate Teal?

Try to conceptualize of what we often call God or Source as a unified consciousness. Try to imagine that it is all there is. It might not be as easy as it sounds to imagine because your brain is designed for the physical world, which is a world of singularity. It’s not designed to be able to comprehend oneness. When the brain thinks of one, it thinks of a thing. But the minute you think of a thing, it implies that that thing is separate from something else, even if that something else is just empty space or air. That thing has definition and it has a beginning and end. But can you stretch your mind enough to imagine a consciousness that has no beginning or end? A consciousness so all-inclusive that there is nothing in existence that is not part of it?

Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People? (Why Life Seems Unfair)

You have been taught that your thoughts come in response to what you are observing. This is the first grand illusion that we have collectively stepped into and accepted as a species. The real truth is that what you are observing has come in response to your thoughts. It comes by virtue of what you have been paying attention to
