Welcome to the Screw It Just DO It podcast
Subscribe and be a part of the movement to help you get to where you want to be.
I'm your host Alex Chisnall, and on this podcast I look to answer one simple question:
How do you get to where you want to be?
I chat to inspirational entrepreneurs, sports stars, and entertainers who took the leap.
They became the people they wanted to be. They did what they always wanted to do.
They might just help you discover how to do it too...
I'm an entrepreneur and podcaster, who's fascinated by human potential. I love taking my guest's experiences plus things I have learnt along the way to help others get to where they want to be.
I'm super-proud for this show to be in the top 1% of all podcasts globally, listened to in 180+ countries and charted #1 everywhere from the UK to Uganda.
Every Wednesday morning we launch a new episode and we encourage and are grateful all your comments.
Cheers,
Alex 🤘🏼

Why Should People Buy From You with Two Comma PR's Sabrina Stocker
Welcome to Episode #448 with Sabrina Stocker, a tennis player turned Forbes featured entrepreneur. Sabrina has built several successful companies, mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs, and was a finalist in the BBC One show, The Apprentice. She is the Founder of Two Comma PR, a public relations agency turning the stories of brands and blockchain projects into leads. During this episode, Sabrina and I talk about Why Should People Buy From You and here are some highlights: If you're thinking of starting a business, think about the issues that you're having. Any issues that you have in your personal life or complaints that you have for products and service will always give an opportunity to start something new. To build a successful business, you should be asking yourself the biggest questions like who is your audience and who is your ideal customers. Always be bold. Just do it because the worst thing that can happen is you're still going to be in the same place as you were yesterday. Tribe of Millionaires with GoBundance & R360's Chris Ryan
Welcome to Episode #446 with Chris Ryan, an experienced entrepreneur, rainmaker, investor, turn-around specialist, and philanthropist. Chris is the CEO of GoBundance and Managing Partner of R360. During this episode, we talk about the past, reflecting on the years growing up and the importance of having a network surrounded by the right people and right organisation. Here are some highlights: A lot of our life is a roll the dice - where we're born, who our parents are, how we're educated, how we're raised, what trauma we go through his kids. Instead, focus on what we can control instead. Regardless of having success and accomplishment, think about if you have lived a life of value and morals and have characteristics that are admirable. Sports is a great way of learning work ethics, the ability of be resilient and to be perseverant and good sportsmanship. With the right work ethics, you don't have to be the smartest guy or the most successful guy or room - you will outwork everyone in every task or challenge. Money DOES NOT provide you the value and quality of life that you want. Sometimes the best advice we get is not necessarily what we want to hear, but what we need to know. Always look for ways and opportunity to redefine and recreate yourself. Chartable & Spotify Taking Digital Audio to the Next Level with Dave Zohrob
Welcome to Episode #443 with Dave Zohrob, Co-Founder of Chartable, the leading podcast analytics and attribution service. During this episode, we talk about all about podcasting and discuss why you need to have a podcast for your brand. Here are some highlights: Good work takes time and through time, you get better at it. If you're looking to build a business, the most important thing is solving important problems for customers. If it doesn't solve their problems, then it doesn't matter. For a startup, everything takes longer to grow. Don't be impatient. There is so much to learn and so much to improve overtime. Start and continue working on. Podcast is a way of going deep with someone. It's another way to connect with an audience in times where you might not be able to reach them otherwise. Just like with every other type of media, podcasts are no different. We have to work to make sure that people are aware of what we're doing and that's the exciting creative journey to it. It's not about how many impressions you're getting, it's about engagement. It's about who you're reaching and how much time they're spending with you. That's going to drive impact versus just pageviews. In celebration of Screw It Just Do It’s 5th Birthday Anniversary, Alex will be launching the Podcast Launch Challenge. It’s a Done-With-You solution in launching or relaunching your podcast! Full details will be released on May 16th. Registration is only up to May 23rd. Building a Global Beauty Brand with Celebrity Make-Up artist Christina Flach
Welcome to Episode #442 with Christina Flach, Celebrity Makeup and Hair Artist and creator and CEO of Pretty Girl Makeup. During this episode, we talk about finding purpose through grief and managing and leading a successful business brand. Here are some highlights: There's always going to be bumps in the road and you just have to learn to ride these waves. Always have a plan A and plan B and hopefully you don't have to get to plan C. To have a successful brand, you have to be a little gentler and kinder to your self. Focus on what you've completed today instead of sulking on what you haven't done. Try to stay in the positive frame of mind. People tend to gravitate to people that have good positive attitude and good work ethics. You have to be flexible in any of you business decisions. There is no failure. Failure is not trying at all. If one doesn't work, then try something new. All these bumps and obstacles are lessons and they are not failure. The Money or The Glory?
Welcome to Sunday's Solo Episode #439. During this episode, we talk about how you see you business right now. Are you still excited about what you're doing?
