Hacking Happiness with Penny Locaso

Future Fit Leadership with Future Leadership is back for Season 3. We kick off with Penny Locaso, on the topic of happiness. Are you prepared to make significant, intentional decisions in your life, to find happiness or flourish? How often do we let fear guide our decisions and - what changes would you make tomorrow if fear simply did not exist. Visible Leadership with Julia May

Have you ever wondered what visibility actually means as a leader? Is it easier to communicate the company vision rather than your own? Have you got so busy in the day to day that you often don’t have the time and space to know what the big picture is for you?  Visibility comes with baggage and pressure for leaders, it is exhausting and often a recipe for burnout. Starting with visibility to self is critical, being self aware, knowing what you stand for, what is your purpose, values and vision for yourself is where you start. How much work do we really do on this when we are being pulled in many directions.  Founding Visibility Co with her best friend Julia May applied the experience she had as a journalist to help leaders become more visible, bringing strategy across to life, leadership and communication.  Visible Co works with leaders to understand what visibility means to self, others and the collective. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Gravitas, Presence and Communication with Louise Mahler

How many times have you heard people say... I would rather be dead then go up there and present. I find this statement perplexing as what you are saying is that you would rather be in a coffin box than on stage.  However I also understand how nerves can get the best of us, sweaty palms, throat closes, you forget your opening line or the key points halfway through.  Gravitas, Presence and Communication are key leadership skills, the voice of the leaders in the C suite is more critical today then ever before. And when the room is quiet and you need to land a particular message, your tone, body language, connection and communication becomes critical. The stories you tell, the humor, the emotion all connects to how well the message will land. In this podcast we talk to Louise Mahler about how we can resonate better with our people.  Link to You Tube to watch Louise in Action. https://youtu.be/uyFTKDwPgCISee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Moving to a Circular Economy is better for the Planet and your Profits

Welcome back, Season 2 of Future Fit Leadership in partnership with Future Leadership.  To start us off this season we talk to Ashleigh Morris, now like me you will probably be googling furiously at the end of this episode and certainly reviewing waste in a very different way.  Ashleigh Morris is one half of the powerhouse at Coreo. Founded by sisters Ashleigh and Jaine Morris, Coreo partners with leaders to re-imagine business models, supply chains, and material flows to help companies harness the power of circularity.  In this conversation we talk about the liner and circular economies, exactly what they represent, what the key issues are and why we need to move towards a more circular economy.  In Australia according to the latest National Waste Report – yes we actually have a report on how much waste we produce -  we generated an estimated 75.8 million tons (Mt) of waste and Over the 15-year period for which data is available, waste generation increased by 12.8 Million tons More than 40% of all waste material being disposed to landfill equates to about 880kg per person. The 2019 audit of Victoria's resource recovery sector found Melbourne is at risk of inadequate landfill by 2025. There are so many issues around this, consider the impact on the environment, the level of emissions, the increased extraction of raw materials and the ever increasing levels of consumption. So, how does moving to a circular economy better…. I hear you ask.  Listen to this podcast with Ashleigh and I know like me you will start to review how you can change to a more circular economy.  Here is a link to an awesome presentation with Ashleigh and Jaine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpx2Tx7EF_QSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
