The Wraith (1986) Review
The Wraith (1986) synopsis: “In a small town in Arizona, a mysterious man/spirit descends from the sky and manifests in a sports car and targets a local violent road-racing gang of motor heads, headed by a ruthless bully who'll do anything to get what he wants.”Starring: Charlie Sheen, Nick Cassavetes, Sherilyn Fenn, and Randy QuaidDirector: Mike MarvinThis week on a very special episode of Podcasting After Dark (said in the same tone as those infamous 80s sitcom episodes lol), Zak and Corey are joined by the co-host of Two Dollar Late Fee, Dustin Rubin, to review The Wraith! This is the second part of our Wraith-tember Crossover Event. You can listen to the first half of the conversation on Two Dollar Late Fee Episode 56!So, what do we think of the cult classic Charlie Sheen film? Oh, we think lots of things… lots and lots of things! Zak and Dustin are lifelong fans while Corey just watched it for the first time, so we definitely come at the film from multiple perspectives. We hope it offers a well rounded view of The Wraith that both lifelong fans and newbies alike can enjoy! Two Dollar Late Fee Podcast Crossover: The Wraith & Where's The Fire
Here it is! The first half of our Podcasting After Dark / Two Dollar Late Fee crossover event featuring The Wraith (1986)! In this episode, Corey joins Zak and Dustin for a freeform discussion about the movie and its awesome soundtrack. Since this was recorded prior to our official breakdown & review of The Wraith (dropping this Monday) you get to hear Corey’s impression of the film in their most raw form! Plus, much more time is dedicated to the soundtrack here, especially “Where’s The Fire” by Tim Feehan, then on the upcoming PAD review. We hope you listen to this and our full breakdown of The Wraith next week. We view both episodes as two parts of a whole discussion. If you only listen to one you’re only getting half the goodness lol.Listen to Two Dollar Late Fee here: Apple Podcasts / Spotify / PatreonFollow Two Dollar Late Fee here: Instagram / Website— SUPPORT PODCASTING AFTER DARK —PATREON - Two extra shows a month, including our celebrity interview series, plus videos and other exclusive content!MERCH STORE - We have a fully dedicated merch store at TeePublic with multiple designs and products!REDDIT - Join our growing Subreddit community!INSTAGRAM / FACEBOOK - Follow us on social media for updates and announcements! This podcast is part of the BFOP Network

The Monster Squad (1987) Review
The Monster Squad (1987) synopsis: “A young group of monster fanatics attempt to save their hometown from Count Dracula and his monsters.”Starring: Andre Gower, Duncan Regehr, Ryan Lambert, and Tom NoonanDirector: Fred DekkerOur first Patreon-requested movie review! A huge THANK YOU to our pal, Crystal for suggesting we give The Monster Squad (1987) the full PAD treatment! The Monster Squad is very near and dear to both Zak and Corey’s hearts. In fact, they both pretty much have the same history with the film; it’s their Goonies! So, you can expect a lot of love for this cult kids movie, but the boys also call out some (very minor) plot problems and dated dialogue to help round out the review. The Monster Squad isn’t a perfect movie but it’s damn close! Thanks again to Crystal for having us review it :)Don’t forget to listen to our awesome interview with Tom Noonan on Patreon— SUPPORT PODCASTING AFTER DARK —PATREON - Two extra shows a month, including our celebrity interview series, plus videos and other exclusive content!MERCH STORE - We have a fully dedicated merch store at TeePublic with multiple designs and products!REDDIT - Join our growing Subreddit community!INSTAGRAM / FACEBOOK - Follow us on social media for updates and announcements! This podcast is part of the BFOP Network

Top 5 Sci-Fi Movie Armor with Dean Manness
Welcome to the latest episode of the Podcasting After Dark Watchlist! This week, Corey talks to Dean Manness from the Talking Back podcast about their top five favorite pieces of sci-fi movie armor. The Burning (1981) Review
The Burning (1981) synopsis: “A former summer camp caretaker, horribly burned from a prank gone wrong, lurks around an upstate New York summer camp bent on killing the teenagers responsible for his disfigurement.”Starring: Brian Matthews, Leah Ayres, Fisher Stevens, and Jason AlexanderDirector: Tony Maylam (also Split Second 1992)Our sleaziest episode to date! Some may even call it a career killer, but not us! Sleaze just comes with the territory when you’re discussing a Weinstein production from the early 80s lol ;pCorey is showrunning this episode, but he doesn’t actually have any nostalgia for The Burning! This was a movie he discovered during 2020’s quarantine and instantly fell in love with it (because of the sleaze). Zak, on the other hand, does have a nostalgic love for The Burning (because of Tom Savini and the stellar cast of first timers, not the sleaze)! So, yea… there’s a healthy dose of raunchiness in this review but there’s also a lot of love for Cropsy’s standalone adventure. And there’s a young ‘George Costanza’ with hair in The Burning! Did we mention that? This movie is something truly special, and we hope so is this episode! Judgement Night (1993) synopsis: “Four friends taking a shortcut en route to a boxing match witness a murder which leaves them running for their lives.”Starring: Emilio Estevez, Cuba Gooding Jr., Stephen Dorff, and Denis LearyDirector: Stephen HopkinsSince both Zak and Corey are on a much needed summer vacation with their respective families, they decided to drop this fun Judgement Night (1993) discussion they had with Tim and Dean on the Talking Back podcast. It was recorded in March of 2021 and originally released on their feed…but now it’s here too lol! A huge thank you to Talking Back for letting us use this episode.
