Jack Suddaby: The Wild Ride of ADHD, Therapy, and Family Shenanigans
You’re about to meet Jack Suddaby, a man who went from causing chaos on the airwaves to navigating parental heartbreak, all while being ADHD to stay in any box. Jack describes his future self as being a little bit silly, carefree and being surrounded by like minded people as a community. This episode is packed with raw honesty, laughs, and the kind of life lessons you don’t see coming.
Jack doesn’t hold back as he talks about his ADHD, the stigma he felt around it growing up, and why he refused to let anyone stick a label on him until he was older. He shares his journey into the world of radio (spoiler: there were many wrong buttons pressed and a fair bit of panic), but also dives into deeper territory, like the moment his parents got back together, only to split up again. It’s a heartbreak story, but it’s also real and relatable. Jack talks about his therapy journey and reveals the surprising impact it had on his life and relationships and reasons why he started.
But don’t think this episode is all heavy. Jack is the ultimate charmer, he’ll have you laughing as he talks about navigating life with ADHD and why he has so much respect for women (spoiler: it involves periods and communication). Oh, and community? For Jack, it’s all about being with good people, surrounded by trees, and staying a bit cheeky, no he doesn't hug trees for a living. What you’ll take away from this episode:
Therapy that works: Jack thought he didn’t need it, and then it cracked open a whole new level of self-awareness was born
ADHD without limits: Jack’s unapologetic refusal to be boxed in is both inspiring and rational
Navigating parental chaos: His parents’ on-again and then divorce hits deep, and led Jack to seek out his own emotional clarity
Success: Forget status and money, Jack is all about silly moments, fun, friendships, and feeling at home in his community.
This episode is a little bit chaotic, silly and heartfelt that proves you don’t need to follow the script to find happiness.Click play to get in on the lighthearted but serious natured conversation, it doesn't have to tears and ti. Thanks Jack for a fun conversation #YouAreAClassOfYourOwn

Katrina Collier: From Trauma to Triumph, with a Twist
Ever felt like your childhood was just a “bit much”? In this episode, we’re joined by Katrina Collier, who’s got a story that'll have you hooked from the get-go. Katrina grew up in what she thought was a "normal" home, until she realised it wasn't. With a narcissistic mother, emotional abuse, and a strained relationship with her family, Katrina’s early years were far from smooth sailing.
Katrina hasn't let her past define her. Instead, she took that messy upbringing and turned it into something pretty incredible. After a failed marriage and some life-altering realisations, she did what most people shy away from, deep, uncomfortable self-work. And not just any self-work. We’re talking about some serious past life regression processes, where she uncovered layers of her identity and learned to own her story and what she could be.
This isn’t just another tale of hardship; it's a story about rising from the the dark. Katrina will take you on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and yes, even some humour along the way (because when life gives you lemons, sometimes you just need to laugh).
Here's some of the key takeaways from the episode:
- Understanding the power of self-awareness: Katrina talks about how she recognised toxic patterns in her life and the steps she took to break free
- The importance of emotional resilience: Hear how she has taken her emotional abuse into a driving force for inner peace
- Real-life strategies for healing: Learn about practical techniques like past life regression (yes, it’s real) and inner child work that Katrina used to reshape her mindset
- Breaking down societal expectations: Katrina discusses how she navigated the workplace, relationships, and personal growth with the scars of her upbringing
- Real actionable insights on self-healing and emotional resilience.
This episode isn’t just for those who’ve been through trauma. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt “not enough” or struggled to find their place in the world. Katrina's story will inspire you to embrace the messy parts of life and find your strength in unexpected places.
Listen in for a no-BS, spiritual and open conversation about resilience, self-healing, and the art of turning your life around. There's something for everyone in this episode, it's a mix of inspiration and practical wisdom.

Breaking Free: Rebekah Clark’s Real Talk on Shame, Trauma, and Self-Acceptance
In this episode, we sit down with Rebekah Clark, TEDx speaker and all-around powerhouse, about her journey through foster care, navigating identity, and how she found healing on her own terms. Rebekah doesn’t hold back - she talks openly about growing up as the only brown child in a white family, facing rejection, and how it has helped shape who she is today.
Taken into foster care at just 10 months old, Rebekah’s early years weren’t easy. From dealing with bullying and feeling different, to facing the weight of shame that wasn’t even hers to carry, Rebekah shares how these challenges stayed with her into adulthood. But this isn’t a story about struggle, it’s about finding strength and beauty in who she is. Her TEDx Talk was titled Beyond the 'Dreaded question'.Forget traditional talking therapy. For Rebekah, healing came from unexpected places. She dives into the alternative methods that helped her—like meditation, grounding, and visualisation, giving her tools to work through trauma and rediscover her self-worth.
Rebekah also opens up about love and connection, and how one relationship, in particular, gave her a fresh perspective on what it means to be seen and accepted without conditions, when she met her now husband. It’s a raw, real look at how love, in its many forms, can be a catalyst for healing. Although hard at the same time.
Some of my key takeaways are:- Rebekah’s honest take on growing up in foster care and what it taught her about identity- How she moved past trauma and found healing when traditional therapy didn’t cut it for her- The lasting effects of bullying and how she learned to let go of shame.- Why connection and being seen for who you are matters so much in the healing process both
Rebekah’s story is one of resilience, finding your own way, and learning to embrace who you are, including all the scars. If you’ve ever questioned your path or struggled with feeling different, this conversation will leave you feeling empowered and ready to take on your own challenges.

Unlocking Change: Privilege in Action with Grace Osborne
In this episode, we chat with Grace Osborne about the challenges of privilege, social mobility, and navigating societal expectations. Grace shares her story of growing up with privilege, going to private school, and coming from a family where university education was the natural course, 5 generations of women in her family went to University. She talks about the naivety that often comes with privilege and the guilt and shame she sometimes feels.
Grace is passionate about her work in social mobility, it's a big part of who she is. She reflects on the stark contrasts between her upbringing and the reality many others face, a difference she only truly understood as she got out of her bubble. Her work has made her realise how privilege can shape your confidence and opportunities, and how family and society often value prestigious careers like banking or consulting over social impact.
A key moment in Grace’s life was when she realised that everyone in her circle had been to university—a norm far from the reality for many others. This highlighted for her how deeply privilege influences our lives and the unconscious biases that come with it. She stresses the importance of getting out of your own bubble, perhaps through volunteering, to see the world from different perspectives.
Grace also talks about the dynamics within her family and social circles, where discussions about careers and salaries are common, reinforcing the pressure to succeed. She touches on conversations had to describe the work she does as "window dressing" for the company she works for. She helps the organsation look good but lack real substance.
Throughout our conversation, Grace reflects on how cultural fit has played a big role in her life. She recognises that her ability to thrive in certain environments and at work has been influenced by her privileged background, her ability to fit in and understand the social capital this privilege gives her. She is also critical of these norms and how they affect and impact others ability to get ahead.
Key Takeaways:- Privilege can lead to a lack of awareness about the struggles others face- Social mobility isn't just about careers; it's central to people’s identity and values- Privilege often makes success seem like a given- It’s important to challenge our unconscious biases by stepping outside our usual circles- Understanding the unspoken rules of certain environments can make a big difference in success, but it’s crucial to question these norms
Grace’s story offers a thoughtful look at how privilege shaped her life and why it’s so important to work towards a fairer society. Tune in to hear her insights on dealing with these challenges and her dedication to making a difference.
