During World War II one of the most feared weapons of the Axis forces was the supremely effective German U-Boat forces. Responsible for a majority of the sinking of supply ships and materiel convoys, the submarine forces proved formidable even with their codes broken by the capture of the Enigma machine. Allied Naval forces were searching for anything that would give them an edge in the Atlantic. In the early hours of June 22, 1943 within the water of the Philadelphia Naval Yard, a witness claimed to have seen a 1,200 ton U.S. Navy Destroyer surround itself in a glowing green shroud and disappear from sight, only to reappear minutes later. This is said to have been the first test of a technology designed to completely hide a U.S. Navy ship from enemy detection but according to some sources, the second test did not go so well. Missing 411: It is claimed that there may be up to 1,600 cases of disappearances on public lands that defy conventional explanation. Men, women, and children who have vanished from national parks, areas surrounding national forests, and even their own homes never to be seen again. A remarkable number of victims were persons who were familiar with the outdoors, hunters, hikers, and campers. The Catholic Church claims that extraordinary demonic activity can take six different forms which may warrant exorcism. Possession, where single or even multiple demons may take control of a person’s body without their knowledge or consent. A case where perhaps a person might flippantly ask spirits or the devil to aid them in some physical labor and that person may exhibit extraordinary strength. July 16, 1945. The very first atomic bomb, codenamed Trinity, was detonated at the Alamogordo Bombing Range. Thus, the human race proved it could wield the devastating power of the atom and entered the atomic age. Only 4 years later, the Soviet Union would detonate its first nuclear weapon and set the world in a position where ushering in total global annihilation would be as simple as turning a key. With planet Earth being in such a precarious situation during the early days of the Cold War, could this have been the reason for one of the most well documented and puzzling U.F.O cases in modern history? During two consecutive weeks in the month of July in 1952, Strange objects were spotted streaking through the skies above Washington D.C. The family consisted of Andreas the 63-year-old patriarch of the family, his 72-year-old wife Cazilia, their 35-year-old daughter Viktoria and her 2 children ages 7 and 2. The entire family was found to be brutally murdered on April 4th of that year. Leading up to their murders, the family was the subject of many rumors and town gossip mostly surrounding the parentage of Viktoria’s 2-year-old son Josef. Members of the family had reported strange happenings around the property. Sightings of a strange mustached man in the forests surrounding the farm and footsteps in the attic had driven the family maid to leave the employment of the Grubers after suffering several nights of sleeplessness due to this.
