In late 2001, Keith Rylance was woken from a dead sleep by the incoherent and frantic sounds of his business partner Petra Heller. Keith entered into his caravan’s loungeroom to find objects normally on the center table scattered about the couch where he had last seen his wife, Amy, watching TV before he went to bed that night. After calming Petra down to a state in which she could put her thoughts together she would go on to tell him of the incredible sight she had just witnessed. A bright light piercing through the caravan window and enveloping her friend and Keith’s wife Amy and moving her through the air. This event would leave the local police and the UFO investigators who responded to Keith’s request for help scratching their heads to this very day. In July of 2017, 20th Century Fox commissioned a national survey regarding aliens and alien abductions. Of those surveyed, almost 40 percent believed E.T.s have visited Earth at some point. Professor Loeb received a PhD in plasma physics at age 24 from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1986) and was subsequently a long-term member at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton (1988-1993), where he started to work in theoretical astrophysics. In 1993 he moved to Harvard University where he was tenured three years later.  He is now the Frank B. Baird Jr. Professor of Science and former chair of the department. He also holds a visiting professorship at the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Sackler Senior Professorship by special appointment in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Tel Aviv University. In 2016 Northrop Aerospace Systems released a concept of what they predicted would be the design to replace current 5th generation aircraft like the Lockheed Martin F-22. This craft sported an exotic swept-wing design that recalled the innovations that were combined within the legendary B-2 stealth bomber. While the development of both aircraft is separated by decades the actual concept of a flying wing design can trace its origins to Nazi Germany at the end of WWII. The Nazis were known to have produced a multitude of remarkable aircraft designs that were years ahead of their time. Some of these craft were claimed to have unusual properties that would have given them unmatched maneuverability and combat capabilities. In Japanese folklore, there is the legend of the Jinwu. Known as the “golden crow”, these storied objects were depicted as three-legged crows contained within fiery orbs. Early legends count ten of these creatures that settled across ten different suns. They were housed within a giant tree from which they would be dispatched every morning to travel across the world. Occasionally they descend to the Earth to consume a special type of grass of immortality. At one point, the legends tell of the ten crows leaving at the same time causing the world to burn. Total catastrophe was avoided by the great celestial archer Houy as he struck down all but one of the destructive creatures. Could these accounts of burning orbs be seen as early interpretations of extraterrestrial UFOs? Japan’s history contains perhaps another, more recent, event where a small fishing village may have had a close encounter with a being not of this planet. Ethiopian legends tell of The Queen of Sheba who bore a son to King Solomon, the famous prophet king of the Abrahamic religions. The legendary Solomon, who was known for his incredible wealth and deep wisdom, who reigned over the United Kingdom of Israel.
