"The Bank of Faith" was originally published in 1889. The apostle Paul said, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). This verse shows that the Lord has abundant resources to meet our every need. But how do we access this divine provision? By faith. It is a bank of faith, and as believers, we live a life of trust. As you listen to this book, it might sometimes sound like a series of checkbook entries, listing one provision after another to meet various needs. If you find yourself thinking, “this seems repetitive,” take a moment to marvel at the repetition. This repetition is a glorious reminder of how God consistently provides for believers. Just like the Israelites in the wilderness who found manna each morning, God faithfully provides for us day after day, year after year. This consistent provision is a testament to God’s unwavering character. Even if we aren’t as urgently praying, “give us this day our daily bread,” because of the wealth we have in America, remember that just as God provided for the Israelites, He will also provide for you.
