Dr. Domenick Sportelli is a medical physician who received a Bachelors degree in Biology as well as a Masters of Science degree in Biology from Montclair State University. Upon graduation from NYIT School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Sportelli started off in General Family Medicine, and then pivoted to focus on mental health and began his four-year Residency Training in General Psychiatry at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Sportelli is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and he is Fellowship Trained in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Dr. Sportelli was and remains very involved in academic medicine through publishing his research teaching residents and medical students at RWJ Medical School as well as being involved with The American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Domenick has also become a noted expert media personality, appearing regularly as a guest on the TV show The Doctors, FoxNews and various other new outlets.

Podcast 033 – The Art of Coaching: How to Connect and Build a Tribe with Rebekah Gold
Rebekah Gold started with Art of Coaching in June of 2022. She’s been a crucial member in all branches of the business – from coaching and event facilitation to operations to marketing and 1-on-1 mentoring/ consulting.
Prior to Art of Coaching, Rebekah served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at The University of North Texas. In addition to her responsibilities with Women’s Soccer and Softball, she also oversaw facility management and served as the Internship Coordinator.
Before UNT, Rebekah was the Olympic Director for Human Performance at Southern Methodist University, and an Assistant Director at both UW-Milwaukee and Arkansas State University. Throughout her time at these institutions, she worked with a variety of teams in both leadership and assistant roles, mentored interns, lead staff development, and ran team building/ leadership curriculums.
Rebekah received a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology – Strength and Conditioning from UW-Oshkosh in December of 2012. She went on to intern with the Sports Performance staff at Marquette University, working with all teams on campus. In the fall of 2013, Rebekah began her Graduate Assistantship with the Strength and Conditioning staff at The Citadel – The Military College of South Carolina. She graduated with a master’s degree in Leadership in the summer of 2015.

Steve Cairns and Crispin Barker work together on the Movement Project, in where they volunteer
their time to provide weekly movement training sessions for people around the world to help them
regain their movement skills after brain injuries
Crispin:
Crispin Barker is a physiotherapist who graduated from Brunel University and worked at UCL
hospitals in London until 2007. He and his wife then moved to Bristol and he started work in a Pain
Management Service and Chronic Fatigue Service using a biopsychosocial and cognitive behavioral
approach. He continues to work within the service comprising of occupational therapists,
psychologists and physiotherapists. Crispin has also studied and taught tai chi for over 30 years, as
well as being a level 3 AIDA free diver.
Steve:
Steve Cairns has several accomplishments to his credit.
As an ultra-marathoner, he completed races including the 100-mile West Highland Way Race, the 50-Mile Cabalo Blanco Ultra (the race featured in the best-selling book Born to Run), and the 50-mile Taff Trail, all twice each, as well as the 80 mile Ridgeway Challenge and the Marathon D’Sable (150 Mile across the Sahara Desert carrying all kit and equipment)
He also spent 14 Years in the British Military with 2 years Airborne and 12 years Special Forces (23 SAS)
In 2017 suffered catastrophic stroke as a result of a brain hemorrhage and required 10.5 hours of surgery on my brainstem which is the most fragile and eloquent part of the brain. Lost all movement skills and prognosis was a 2-3 year recovery with permanent deficits and a possible need for a walker or cane. Disagreed with the doctors and signed himself out of hospital in a wheelchair, rehabbed himself and smashed his prognosis targets inside 10 weeks.
Steve is also is member of the External Advisory Medical Board for the Hypertrophic Olivary Degeneration Association (HODA). HOD is a degenerative ataxic condition that can present in individuals who are post Brain Injury

Max Coleman is a second year’s Masters student currently working under Dr. Brad Schoenfeld in the Human Performance and Fitness Lab at Lehman College in the Bronx, New York. Dr.Schoenfeld’s lab is considered one of the premier research centers in exercise science and has published more than 250 peer-reviewed scientific papers on various exercise and sports nutrition-related topics.
Max’s research interest pertains to the manipulation of resistance training variables and their effect on muscle hypertrophy.

Podcast 026 – Blood Flow Restriction Training with Jeremy Loenneke
Dr. Jeremy Loenneke credentials include a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Southeast Missouri State University, as well as a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Loenneke is the director of the Kevser Ermin Applied Physiology Laboratory and his research group’s primary focus is on skeletal muscle adaptations to exercise with and without the application of blood flow restriction.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and a member of the American Physiological Society. He has also authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and currently serves on the editorial board for Sports Medicine, Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, PLOS One, Peer J, and Journal of Trainology.
