More than two years after a gun held by actor Alec Baldwin went off on the New Mexico set of the film “Rust,” Baldwin is preparing for his manslaughter trial. The bullet from Baldwin’s gun hit the film’s cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, and director, Joel Souza. Hutchins did not survive. Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the film set’s armorer, was recently found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 18 months in prison. Mia Bailey, a transgender woman who previously went by the name Collin, was taken into custody in Utah after an all-night manhunt.
