They did just that, restructuring Tyreek Hill’s contract guaranteeing him $65 million dollars over the next three seasons of the $90 million dollar deal. Tyreek’s running mate Jaylen Waddle also cashed in big in the off-season. He signed a three-year extension worth $84.75 million dollars, bringing the total of his contract through 2028 to $104.6 million dollars.With his weapons locked up, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was up next. The Dolphins signed their franchise quarterback to a $212.4 million dollar contract extension including $167.1 million in guaranteed money. The loss of Xavien Howard is a big one on the defensive side, but the signings of veterans Kendal Fuller, and Jordan Poyer should help the Dolphins' defense backfield out. We're also joined by infamous SGPN & Packers Super Fan 'DikPuncher' (@THE_DIKPUNCHER) breaking down Packers fans outlook on the season.Year one without Aaron Rodgers was a smashing success. Jordan Love led the Green Bay Packers to a 9-8 record and a playoff win over the Dallas Cowboys. It started off slow, after seven games the Packers were just 2-5. They really started to click after that and went on their great run to end the season. The Packers are notorious for being quiet in free agency, and that was true again this year with one big exception. They brought in free agent running back Josh Jacobs who comes over from the Las Vegas Raiders to replace the departing Aaron Jones. This is a major upgrade at the running back position that adds to an already potent offense.They keep all the other big pieces of the offense in place with big questions about who will break out as their top receivers. Four guys all showed great promise and the Packers would love to see them all contribute. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, and Dontayvian Wicks all showed the ability to be #1 at the position. The Green Bay Packers were the youngest team in the NFL last season. Fans should be excited that they return a majority of their key players with another year of experience under their belt. After going just 7-10 last season, the Bears were lucky enough to have the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft thanks to the Carolina Panthers, who traded that pick for last year’s No. 1 overall quarterback Bryce Young. The team decided to hit reset at the quarterback position, Justin Fields was shipped off to Pittsburgh and quarterback phenom Caleb Williams, the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner from USC came in to take his place.The Bears immediately turned around at pick No. 9 and took a solid weapon for Williams in wide receiver Rome Odunze out of Washington. They also brought in veteran receiver Keenan Allen in a trade with the Los Angeles Chargers and his tight end running mate Gerald Everett. The Bears upgraded at running back with the addition of former Philadelphia Eagle and Detroit Lion D’Andre Swift, who brought teammate Kevin Byard with him to replace a departing Eddie Jackson in the defensive backfield. Jonathan Owens will also solidify that safety position.
