Reactivating Past Clients for Easy Cash

How much money are you leaving on the table not following up with your best clients that are no longer with you? We recently got a new RV a year ago and we had slim pickings on getting a spot for Memorial Day weekend but thankfully found something. It was our first experience and we had nothing to compare it to so our overall impression was it was “nice”. We said things like, it was good and we had fun, but there was no over the top reaction. Then we went to a few more that summer and fall and all we kept comparing the new campgrounds to was the first one. We had no idea how spacious the lots were, how safe it was for our kids to be wondering on their own, that dog parks are not standard, or that hiking trails are a huge perk. We didn’t realize how good we had it until we tried other places. Do you know how many times that happens with our clients? They leave thinking let’s try something new and sometimes they realize I should have stayed. How can we remind them? This is where a reactivation strategy comes into play. This is one of the concepts that we teach inside of our program, Well-oiled Operations. How to Create a Reactivation Strategy Identify who you want to reactivate Create a rhythm of a touch point Direct ask when the timing is right Tell them what’s new and what you've done since they left We call this strategy WOO & WOW. Turning Your Goals into Tasks

When you begin to delegate more tasks and responsibilities to your team you can easily become stumped as to what to give them to do. Today we’re talking about gaining clarity on your vision in a way that allows you to reverse engineer your long-term goals and break them down into smaller tasks. To grab the PDF download of an example of what this has looked like inside Foot Traffic, dm me on Instagram ‘CLARITY’ and we’ll send it to you. You can find me @stacytuschl You’re getting caught up in the day-to-day maintaining your status quo but that isn’t getting you any closer to your goals of increasing your revenue. Things are feeling mundane and monotonous and your team members aren’t especially fired up about their daily tasks. We’ve got to get crystal clear on the movement and impact of each activity. 5 Steps to Turning Your Goals into Tasks 1. Reassess for the biggest impact look at data to tell you or start tracking 2. Identify activities not producing results (either pause or stop) 3. Calendar those activities with consistency 4. Overestimate timeline in your favor 5. Hold yourself and others accountable Number 5 is probably the hardest and most important one. How often are you keeping your commitments to yourself? Be aware of that. It's a big deal, even if no one knows but you. The better you get at this the more progress you will see. When my alarm went off today at 4:50am, do you think I was excited to get out of bed? No, but I made a commitment to get up and start my day, so I did. It's much easier to keep others accountable. You’re paying for results, so as long as you track what are they working on this week and today, you’ll move closer every day. According to a Gallup poll, the cost of replacing an individual employee can range from one-half to two times the employee's annual salary. Today we’re talking about why it’s important to prioritize rewarding your employees and there’s a PDF download, dm me on Instagram @stacytuschl ‘REWARD’ to get the list of 20 Ways to Reward Your Employees I bet right now you have someone on your team who is either considering leaving or you’re thinking of replacing them. How can you make retention a priority item on your ever-growing to-do list? It’s actually because your to-do list is so long that you need to prioritize keeping your employees and motivating them to perform at their best. 3 Ways to Reward Employees and Improve Retention Frequent, meaningful conversations with employees. Gallup research also reveals that over half of employees (51%) who leave voluntarily say that in the three months before they left, neither their manager nor any other leader spoke with them about their job satisfaction or future with the organization. 1. Acknowledgment and recognition – Giving shoutouts at team meetings or leaving notes on a job well done goes a long way when it comes to team morale. 2. Opportunities for growth - You might also consider delegating more responsibility or leadership opportunities. 3. Professional development – Consider purchasing a course or educational resource to encourage your team members to continue learning and growing in their roles. When you make keeping your team members with you a priority, you also keep Problem-solvers, Leaders, Customer-service, Morale, and Productivity which means if you lose team members and these other essential aspects of your business, you risk adding more to your to-do list. Improve Your Leadership Skills with Intentional Communication Guidelines

Avoiding conflict or difficult conversations with your team members isn’t going to magically make a situation better.  In fact, the longer you put it off, the worse it’s going to get. With intentional communication strategies, you can let your team members know what needs to change in a caring and respectful way. Things aren’t always done in alignment with your business best practices or company values. This could be because team members don’t fully believe that the system in place is essential or it could be because the system wasn’t clearly communicated. In any case, the needs of the business need to be intentionally communicated and you can’t let that team member continue to not meet your expectations. When you practice intentional communication guidelines, difficult conversations become easier and situations improve for everyone. 3 communication guidelines in this episode: Be Honest – state the facts and honestly express the consequences of the person’s actions. Use “I statements” – “I’ve noticed” “I believe” “I am in a difficult situation because of…” always avoid blaming or harmful, hurtful statements. If you aren’t able to maintain composure, postpone the conversation. Use logic vs. emotion – acknowledge the emotion first with empathy and then move on to the logic/solution. Taking the lead on improving communication will have a ripple effect on your team and clients. Comment ‘COMMUNICATION’ on this Facebook Post in our Facebook group to receive the PDF with these 3 tips I discussed here and other helpful suggestions to keep in mind.
