Episode 132 is a powerful episode where I sit down with retiring Special Forces Officer Bryan Ray. Bryan had a long military career in the Army that we really delve into and look at both the good aspects of soldiering, as well as the dark side that often doesn’t get talked about! Bryan had a successful career where his last duty station found him at Ft Carson, CO, where he took part in running the mountain warfare school. We talk in depth about how his service has led to some emotional struggles and what the journey to healing looks like! We then look at his post military career he is currently starting with a company called Health Via Modern Nutrition (HVMN), they have released a ketone supplement called Ketone IQ that is proven to improve both cognitive and physical performance. I really enjoyed meeting Bryan and recording this episode. We even got some cold-water therapy in the Colorado mountains right before recording! Episode 130 is a powerful episode and one that I am very proud to release. I sit down with V Ginny Burton. Ginny has lived one of the darkest lives imaginable. She was addicted to drugs from the ages of 12-40 and lived a life filled with crime, abuse, incarceration, homelessness and so much more. Her life has been filled with unimaginable pain, yet after 3 decades of chaos she was able to make a choice to change and become the incredibly beautiful person she is today. In Episode 128 we sit down and discuss the darkness trying to get its hooks back into you! This show has been a platform that I have always prided myself on being brutally honest and 100% authentic. In Episode 124 I sit down with Chad DePauw and Zach Evans. We just completed a successful archery deer hunt in Readstown, Wisconsin and we recorded this podcast literally hours after the completion of a five-day hunt. The hunt felt long and arduous and we didn’t find success until literally the last hour of the week. Chad hosted the hunt on his personal 80-acre plot of land and taught us so much inside of five days. My goal is to feel a more intimate connection with my food sources, and I think it’s important for people to understand what taking a life feels like if you consume meat.
