Boiling Point director Philip Barantini on going from Acting to Directing & making a One-Take Film.
Today, Giles Alderson and co-host Lucinda Rhodes Thakrar welcome the incredible Philip Barantini! He is the writer-director-producer of the Indie One-Take Film Boiling Point (2021), which won multiple BIFA awards, including Best Cinematography, Best Supporting Actress, Best Casting, Best Sound, & and Phil was also nominated for Best Director!Phil dives deep into his filmmaking career: He talks about how he started out as an actor, how he slowly shifted into directing and into the mindset of a director, and his learnings from that.
