Les Brown and his twin brother were born on the floor of an abandoned building in Liberty City, a low-income section of Miami, Florida. Their birth mother, married at the time to a soldier stationed overseas, had become pregnant by another man and went to Miami secretly to give birth and three weeks later, she gave them away. He was adopted by Mamie Brown, a 38-year-old single woman who worked as a cafeteria attendant and domestic assistant. As a child, Brown was finding it impossible to concentrate and was labelled "educable mentally retarded" in the fifth grade which damaged his self-esteem and confidence. While in high school, Brown used to fantasize about being on stage speaking to thousands of people.  After high school, Brown was firmly intent on becoming a DJ, he learned all he could about the workings of a radio station. One day, when a disc jockey became drunk on the air and Brown was the only other person at the station, he filled in at the microphone. Impressed, the owner of the station promoted Brown to part-time and then full-time disc jockey. In the late 1960s, Brown moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he had a top-rated radio program and was eventually given added duties as broadcast manager. This new level of influence inspired Brown to become more socially and politically conscious, urging his listeners to political action.  After being terminated from the radio station, he ran for election in the Ohio House of Representatives and won. After leaving the Ohio State Legislature, he shifted his career to television and became a host on PBS. From September to Nov 1993, he hosted a talk show, The Les Brown Show. When he entered the motivational speaking arena in the mid-1980s, he had virtually nothing, having moved to Detroit with his clothes and just one tape of his motivational speeches. He rented an office that he shared with an attorney.  Now, Les Brown is a highly sought-after resource in business and professional circles for Fortune 500 CEOs, small business owners, non-profit and community leaders from all sectors of society looking to expand opportunities. He energizes people to meet the challenges of the world around them. Hundreds of thousands are watching him on YouTube and tens of thousands interact with him regularly on Facebook. Ognjen Topic is a Serbian-born American Muay Thai kickboxer. He was born into an ethnic Serb family in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His family fled the Bosnian War, first finding refuge in Serbia. The family emigrated to the United States when Ognjen was nine years old. He has been training at North Jersey Muay Thai (NJMT) since 2005. In 2008, Ognjen began training and fighting out of Eminent Air Gym in Bangkok, Thailand. Eminent Air is ranked one of the 10 best gyms in the country. Ognjen has divided his time primarily training at NJMT while spending months each year at Eminent Air. There, he can gain a competitive advantage while preparing to compete on large televised promotions such as MAX Muay Thai, Ch. 8 (Highest rated show in Thailand). He has also fought in Lumpini, Radjadamnern, Aswindam, Jitmuangnon, Theprasit and many more stadiums, including one in China.   Back in the USA, Ognjen is a full-time instructor who holds class while training for big fights, such as on the Lion Fight show. Ognjen Topic is a three-time world champion in Muay Thai. Topic is also a former Lion Fight World Champion, having earned the title in 2013. He was named "Professional Rookie of the Year" at the Muay Thai Authority Awards in 2011. He is also a World Boxing Council (WBC) North American Super Featherweight Champion and World Kickboxing Association (WKA) North American Lightweight Champion. Ranked No. 1 in the USA (Super Featherweight Division) He is The Current WKA North American Champion (Lightweight Division) and The Current WBC North American Champion (Super Featherweight Division). He was voted 2011 North American professional rookie of the year by Muay Thai Authority and 2011 professional fighter of the month by the WKA (World Kickboxing Association) and 2011 Breakthrough fighter of the year by Muay Thai is Life website. Many confuse the difference between a business and a brand A business is your foundation, your product and the services you offer. It’s what your business model is made for. Born in Houston, Texas in 1984, Serhant was raised in Topsfield, Massachusetts, on the North Shore of Massachusetts, where he attended the Pingree School. He spent most of his summers with his family in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where he pursued his interest in theatre and arts, attending Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp. Ryan Serhant moved to New York City when he was 22, hoping to launch a career on Broadway. When that dream didn’t pan out, he found a different route into show business—as a real estate agent. Serhant has appeared on CNN, CNBC, FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS. He has been quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Wall Street Journal China and Forbes.  Since his debut on Million Dollar Listing, Serhant has also appeared on Inside Amy Schumer, and in 2014, Serhant made his film debut, co-starring in Noah Baumbach's 2014 film, While We're Young. In 2017, Serhant produced and launched the Bravo television show “Sell It Like Serhant”, a spin-off of MDLNY in which he coaches under-performing salespeople, helping them improve their sales skills.  He eventually started his own real estate firm on September 15, 2020, SERHANT!
