If you ask a lot of investors that tested this philosophy when starting out they will outright reject this. Only after building credibility will this really come true. When first starting to raise money it is very important to focus on the needs of the investors you are raising the money from. How can you best serve them and help them be successful in their wants and needs ?!? If your core focus is solely on what you need you will find it very difficult to be able to successfully raise funds from others. Also make sure to speak to an attorney to make sure you are always in compliance with the type of money raising you perform. Lawyers can be expensive but never as expensive as a lessoned that could be learned by breaking SEC guidelines.
