God is reconciling our history in order to catapult us into our destiny. Therefore, regret has no place in the new creation. Godly sorrow produces repentance. The enemy wants to co opt our Godly sorrow and insert a false narrative that will cause us not to repent but to regret.

We sat down with R.A. Martinez to try to answer the questions we have been receiving around politics and prophecy. It turned into a two-hour conversation about what prophecy is, what it isn't, how to test prophecy, and what is a false prophet. This episode is the second hour of that conversation on how we weigh and test prophecy and how prophecy should be particularly handled when it comes to political elections. This episode is the first hour of that conversation where we lay the foundation for what New Testament prophecy is so that we can know how to steward it.

There is only one name that the Church is supposed to make great among the nations, the name of Jesus. Before His ascension, Jesus gave His disciples a commission that was rooted in His infinite desire for mankind and backed by the authority that was given to Him through the finished work of the cross. This commission would come to define, in this age, the mandate of the global Church. It is called the Great Commission. Sadly, the Great Commission is disappearing from the vision of the Body of Christ with recent statistics indicating upwards of 82% of churchgoers in America have not heard of, cannot identify, and cannot explain the Great Commission. We must, with all of our energy, work to Make the Great Commission Great Again.

In this episode, R.A. Martinez sits down with us to tackle the subject of "speaking in tongues," a common expression in the Charismatic and Pentecostal movements; many of us have heard of it or maybe even practice it in part but have never heard it explained. Is there a difference between "speaking in tongues" and "praying in the Spirit"? We ask R.A. about some traditional ideas around "speaking in tongues" and where they are found in the Bible as well as his understanding of what the "gift of tongues" actually is and how it is to be practiced. We pray this encourages and helps you!

Many across the Body of Christ are practicing the discipline of fasting as we begin this new year. R.A. Martinez and our guest take on the topic of New Testament fasting: what it is and what it isn't.
