69: Why "Self-Awareness For The Sake of Others" And More

Patrick Currie, founder of Jajeh Leadership Group, returns to the podcast to discuss another round on Self-Awareness! R.A. Martinez and Patrick start by defining “self-awareness” by identifying our tendencies, patterns, actions, consequences, and the reality we create around us. Then we take a turn to discuss the pitfalls in the modern self improvement trends. The heart of all of our energy towards self improvement must be the cross and the pursuit of the highest possible good for the people under and around you. Could Self-Awareness really not be about us?

68: What Does It Mean To Be "Pro-Israel"?

The nation of Israel, which hosts more Christian visitors every year than any other nation, is still classified as an unreached nation. Many who say they “support” Israel are often lured by a sentimental support that does not seriously consider the condition of Israel languishing without a witness of the gospel. The apparent disconnect has caused much confusion in the Body of Christ over what to do with the “issue of Israel”. Sadly, this has been reduced to which side we are going choose in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. In this episode, R.A. Martinez walks though God’s sovereign election, historic suffering and future salvation of the Jewish people as prophesied about in the Scriptures and then takes a look at how the New Testament writers showed their support for Israel who are “enemies of the gospel” as well as “beloved for the sake of their forefathers”.

67: Destiny Destroyers: Refusing Jealousy

In Christ, God has reconciled our history and is using it to launch us into our destiny. Satan is sowing seeds to try to steal, stall it out and supplant it with regret, bitterness and jealousy. In the third episode of the Destiny Destroyers series, R.A. Martinez explores what might be the most destructive of the three Destiny Destroyers: Jealousy. From Cain and Abel until now, jealousy has been fueling the spirit of murder between brothers and sisters and, as the Apostle James tells us, gives a place for “disorder and every evil practice.” It’s time to renounce regret, uproot bitterness and refuse jealousy!

65: Destiny Destroyers: Renouncing Regret

The Father has a glorious destiny for all those in Jesus. He is shaping us into whole hearted lovers of God, conforming us into the image of His Son and inviting us into fruit bearing assignments that will bring Him much glory on the earth. Satan is working to sow seeds in our lives that to steal, stall out, and minimize that destiny.    In the first episode in this Destiny Destroyers series, R.A. Martinez and our VP of Care, Chris Carter explore the reconciliation that was accomplished through the finish work of the cross. That reconciliation has delivered us from regret. God is reconciling our history in order to catapult us into our destiny. Therefore, regret has no place in the new creation. Godly sorrow produces repentance. The enemy wants to co opt our Godly sorrow and insert a false narrative that will cause us not to repent but to regret.
