It is well known to our listeners that Andrew likes buying and selling early editions of Lewis books. In this episode, he is joined by two other enthusiastic collectors, Dr. Steven Beebe and Dr. Gordon Greenhill, to talk about their book collecting.

Over this past Season, co-host Andrew Lazo has appeared on the Upstream podcast with Shane Morris several times. For the next two Thursdays we'll be sharing the audio from two of these appearances. In today's episode, Andrew explains how Lewis' books reveal the exhortation to love rightly.

Earlier this season in "Barfield Month", we looked at the life and work of Lewis' fellow Inkling, Owen Barfield. Only after this special series was concluded did we come across the thoroughly enlightening book by Dr. Stephen Thorson, which is entitled "Joy and Poetic Imagination". In his book, Dr. Thorson unpacks all the important issues debated between Lewis and Barfield in their "Great War", many of which are discussed on today's show with the author.
