Slice plantains at an angle into 1/2 inch pieces2. Sprinkle plantains with salt3. Heat vegetable oil on medium low; cook plantains for 7 minutes each side4. Drain plantains on a paper towel before serving AVOCADO SAUCE- Avocado- Sour cream- Garlic- Lime juice- Cilantro- Chili powder- Salt and pepper 1. Dice Avocados; place all ingredients in food processor and process on high until smooth GARLIC AIOLI- Mayonnaise- Minced garlic- Lemon Juice- Salt and pepper SPICY MAYO- Mayonnaise- Hot sauce- Minced garlic- Lime juice- Cajun seasoning CUBAN SANDWICH- Bread- Mustard- Mayo- Swiss cheese- Dill pickles- Ham- Pulled pork- Salami- Butter 1. Spread mustard and mayo on both sides of bread. Add cheese to both sides2. Add ham, pork, salami, and pickles to one side, then close sandwich3. Heat skillet and season with butter4. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, and cook until tender Chop onion Melt butter in sauté pan, add onions and garlic; cook until translucent Add frozen veggies and cook until tender Add ground beef until no longer pink; drain excess fat Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and other seasonings to taste Cook uncovered for around 10 min, adding broth to keep from drying out Drain potatoes; add butter and mash Add seasonings to taste Spread cooked meat / veggie filling on the bottom of a casserole dish Spread mashed potatoes over the top Bake at 400° for 30-45 min, until browned and bubbling  This episode is brought to you by Made In Cookware. In a Dutch oven, melt butter.2. Add onion, salt, pepper and cayenne (optional).3. Add spinach in handfuls; cook until wilted4. Add garlic5. Add cream cheese and continue cooking until melted.6. Add parmesan cheese; stir to combine7. Remove from heat; season with salt and pepper to taste Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes- Russet potatoes; thinly sliced- Butter- Medium onion- Salt and Black pepper- All-purpose flour- Milk- Shredded cheddar cheese 1. Butter a casserole dish2. Layer ½ of the potatoes in the pan; season with salt and pepper3. In a medium saucepan, melt butter4. Gradually whisk in flour and salt to make a roux5. Slowly add milk, whisking well as you pour to avoid lumps6. Continue cooking until mixture is thickened7. Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted.8. Pour cheese sauce over potatoes and cover with foil9. Bake at 400° until potatoes are tender and sauce is bubbly (1-1 ½ hrs) Steak- Steak (filets)- Omaha Steak seasoning 1.
