Matt Nein is currently the Assistant Director of Athletics & Campus Rec/Head Sports Performance Coach & Manager of Fitness & Facilities at Salisbury University, in Salisbury, Maryland, and has been since 2004. Before that, Matt was the Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 2018, Matt was named the National Strength & Conditioning Association College Strength Coach of the Year, an award given annually to the top strength coach across NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA divisions. Matt also serves on the NSCA Advisory Board for the State of Delaware, is the Chair for the NSCA Lacrosse Special Interest Group (SIG), and serves on the NSCA Honor & Awards Committee. N31: Dr. Donna Lopiano - No Girls Allowed, The Importance of Title IX
Today we are joined by Dr. Donna Lopiano on Episode 31 of The Hawkin Podcast.
Dr. Lopiano is currently the President and founder of Sports Management Resources, a consulting firm that focuses on bringing the knowledge of experienced, expert former athletics directors to assist scholastic and collegiate athletics departments in solving growth and development challenges. Previously, she was the chief executive officer of the Women's Sports Foundation from 1992 to 2007 and focused on ensuring athletic departments throughout the nation were compliant with Title IX regulations. Prior to that, in 1975, Dr. Lopiano was the first Director of Women's Athletics at the University of Texas. Throughout her years in athletics, Lopiano has been a strong advocate and supporter of Title IX regulations. Living in a male-dominated field, Dr. Lopiano gives excellent insight into equality in athletics.

N30: James Hanisch - From the NFL to Hawkin Dynamics
Today we are joined by James Hanisch on Episode 30 of The Hawkin Podcast.
James is currently the Managing Director of the Hawkin Dynamics Asia-Pacific region. Previously, James held positions as Director of Performance Science with the Philadelphia Eagles, Sports Science Coordinator at the University of Oregon, as well as performance analyst with the Brisbane Lions and Adelaide Football Club. Hanisch earned his Master's Degree in High-Performance Sport from ACU (Australian Catholic University) and his Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement from the University of South Australia. James has now been a part of the Hawkin Dynamics Team for a year but has been part of the Hawkin Family for much longer, as he was a previous user of the Hawkin Dynamics Force Plates prior to becoming an employee.
