Tuesday’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett, features Danny Kelly from The Ringer and Tim Booth of the Seattle Times.  Puck chats about Luis Castillo not being traded this offseason, the U.S. vs. Canada round two Thursday, the NFL draft and why no NBA expansion buzz with Seattle, plus, it’s a big day for the CEO of the Puckett family…his wife. (12:33) - Danny Kelly, The Ringer joins Puck to talk about his latest Mock Draft at The Ringer and who he has in his top ten and a surprise at number one. Also, who do the Seahawks take at #18?(39:39) - Tim Booth, Seattle Times stops by and pays a visit with Puck to recap the NBA All-Star weekend in which Tim went down to San Francisco to cover in hopes of asking NBA Commissioner Adam Silver about expansion, however, the league limited questions and Tim never got to ask about the topic, nor did any national reporter ask.  Tim points out that the buzz around expansion has cooled, why?   Tim and Puck discuss that if the timeline continues to drag, at which point do fans start to swear off the league if they haven’t done so already?  Also, Tim points out that in the recent months there has been rumors of another group wanting to bring a team to Seattle.  What about Chris Hansen?  Would Jeff Bezo’s be a potential owner?  What about Bezo’s ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott?  She was rumored last year to be interested in the Blazers. (1:14:27) - Puck gives a sneak preview of his podcast with NFL draft guru Dane Brugler from The Athletic.   The full podcast is available to Puck’s Posse members and you can join by going to PuckSports.com.  On the first episode of a seven part series leading up to the draft, Puck and Dane discuss the overall depth and talent of the 2025 draft. (1:18:42) - “Hey, What the Puck!?” The NBA needs to stop screwing around with Seattle.  

President’s Day Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett and he’s joined by Jim Moore, the Go-2-Guy as they discuss Jim’s ongoing computer issues, the start of Mariners spring training, the excite of covering spring training and why when they worked at KJR they never got to go! Puck and Jim also chat about the changes to the Mariners broadcast team and Jim as a column coming out on Tuesday about Angie Mentink joining the broadcast.  Jim mocks the Huskies for not getting a full share of future TV revenue from the Big 10 and is taking delight in the struggles of the basketball team. They also discussed the Four nations tournament and the Canadian fans booing the National Anthem and the reaction from the U.S. players.  Puck and Jim disagree on how the U.S. players handled the opening minute of the game. They wrapped the show talking about the NBA All-Star game and the changes they made this year, did it work?Puck wraps up the show with, “Hey, What the Puck!?”  The NBA needs to stop overthinking the All-Star game festivities and just get back to the basics. 

Friday’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett features, Jim Moore, the Go-2-Guy and Chris Egan from King 5.  Jim and Puck chat for the first thirty minutes about Puck’s trip to Pullman for his dog, his plans for Valentines Day, Mariners spring training, why do some Mariners viewers not like Angie Mentink on their broadcast, Little League baseball in the snow and Friday voicemails.
