Today’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett and Jim Moore focuses solely on the crazy weekend that was the Seahawks with trades of Geno Smith and D.K. Metcalf.  Are the Seahawks rebuilding?  Are they now better off with out Geno and D.K.?  Also, heat now turned up on John Schneider, what is their plan B if Darnold didn’t agree to a contract?  Puck and Jim were done recording when the Darnold news came out.  Is Darnold worth the money?  Puck wraps up the show with, “Hey, What the Puck!?” If Sam Darnold and the flurry of moves don’t work out for Seattle than John Schneider will have to find a new job.

Metcalf, Geno Smith and what is shaping up to be a tumultuous offseason for the Seahawks.  Are the Seahawks better off getting rid of D.K.?  Chris Egan, King 5, drops by for his weekly visit with Puck and Jim and they discuss the high school basketball tournament down in Tacoma, D.K. Metcalf wanting out of Seattle, Egan and his wife role playing, Justin Turner comments and Jerry Dipoto gives another awkward interview and the boys react. Puck wraps up the show with, “Hey, What the Puck!?”  (3:05) -Puck and Jim start off the show getting right into Puck’s interview with Mike Garafolo, NFL Network and Michael-Shawn Dugar, The Athletic, on the trade request of D.K. Metcalf, Raiders landing spot, teams calling on Geno Smith, and are the Seahawks better off without Metcalf?(33:29) -Puck, Jim and Chris Egan, King 5 - high school basketball championships in Tacoma, DK Metcalf demands a trade, Egan role plays with his wife, Justin Turner sounds off on team and Jerry Dipoto does another interview. (1:12:42) -“The Scout” debut podcast with Puck and a major league baseball scout with 30-plus years covering baseball, gives Puck the latest on the Mariners, offseason moves, Polanco, J.P. Crawford struggles, Donovan Solano and who he thinks the best pitcher on the Mariners staff is. (1:34:39) -“Hey, What the Puck?!” I’ve seen a lot of Rainier Beach teams, this is the most unselfish, fastest and best passing team I’ve ever seen. 

On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett opened the show discussing another disaster of an interview that Jerry Dipoto did, D.K. Metcalf trade and Mariners players agree with Justin Turner.  Puck welcomes Mike Garafolo, NFL Network to get the latest on D.K., where is he headed, Raiders landing spot and teams calling about Geno Smith.  Michael-Shawn Dugar, The Athletic gives a local angle to the D.K. trade story including the likelihood he lands in Las Vegas, plus, has trust been lost with John Schneider.  Puck wraps up with “Hey, What the Puck!?”  If they trade D.K., then there is no reason to keep Geno Smith. (22:27) -Mike Garafolo, NFL Network, joins Puck for his weekly visit.  D.K. is likely to be traded, Raiders are the the favorite, Geno Smith could be on the move and Lockett is a lock for Las Vegas. (49:17) -Michael-Shawn Dugar, The Athletic stops by to visit with Puck.   All signs points to Las Vegas for D.K., is the trade worth it, are you in a rebuild and why would you keep Geno Smith?(1:30:21) -“Hey, What the Puck!” Puck updates the WIAA High School basketball tournament and if you move D.K., then it’s time to move Geno Smith.

On Tuesday’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett welcomes Danny Kelly, The Ringer, to recap the NFL combine, thoughts on Shedeur Sanders and a loaded running back class.  Also, John Canzano, JohnCanzano.com, drops by for his weekly visit to discuss all things college sports, mediation between the Pac-12 and Mountain West, Major League baseball in Portland and media fights. Puck starts off the show discussing the current injury situation with Jorge Polanco and the concern he has with him not being able to practice in the infield yet.  Puck also plays a clip from The Athletic’s Dane Brugler, who joined the show yesterday on the state of the running backs in the upcoming draft.  John Schneider has a history of selecting running backs so don’t be shocked if they do so. Puck wraps up the show with, “Hey, What the Puck!?”  BREAKING NEWS on the Seahawks front (5:42) -Puck shares thoughts on the health of Jorge Polanco and the odds that the Seahawks draft a running back (17:15) -Danny Kelly, The Ringer, wraps up his week at the NFL combine and shares his thoughts on Shedeur Sanders and his poor interview process, plus, it’s a loaded running back class, will Seattle draft one?  Finally, what offensive lineman stood out to him during the combine. (44:36) -John Canzano, JohnCanzano.com gives the lates on the reported mediation between the Pac-12 and the Mountain West. On Friday’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by Jim Moore, the Go-2-Guy to start off the show where they chat about their miserable golf picks, the cost of golf, the Cougs awful basketball team, Puck’s Jimmy Rogers, new WSU football coach interview and media personalty fights. Chris Egan, King 5 joins Puck and Jim and recaps the Seattle Sports Star Awards show, covering high school sports, his optimism for the Mariners and a new contract for Geno Smith. (8:54) - Puck and Jim open up ranting and raving about the cost of golf, the miserable Cougars hoops team, media fights and the blurred lines of sports journalism. (36:14) - Chris Egan, King 5 joins Puck and Jim to recap the Seattle Sports Star awards show and scold Puck and Jim about their negativity surrounding the Mariners.  Also, Egan details his story on the Ballard High School gymnastics team,  previews a huge high school baseball game, his love for high school sports and how much would you pay to keep Geno Smith?(1:19:00) - “Hey, What the Puck!?”  Don’t overpay for Geno Smith.
