Road Trip Project #3
Took a drive down to the beach the other weekend so I had some time to kill during the 3 hour car ride.
Here's some ranting and rambling on various topics that I've been requested to hit on as it relates to owning a microgym.

Stop Re-Investing In Your Business If...
I made a post on Instagram the other day that read:
In this order:
1. Be profitable
2. Reinvest back into the business
3. Scale
After a lot of discussion with microgym owners on this topic, I decided to deep dive in a solo dolo rant.
Enjoy.

Branding With Boris - Ep. 08 - Creating A Freelance Career
On this episode of Branding With Boris, we have our regular Show + Tell feature that we both dive into and extract the key branding elements that you need to be considering for your company. We then have a very transparent conversation about how we started our freelancing businesses (his being design and mine being consulting) and how we view the "gig economy" that has outgrown W2 jobs in the USA by 400% over the past 5 years.
If you're in need of brand design work and want to work with the best, head over to www.metconcreative.com.au where my man Boris does incredible work to bring your brand to life.

Dick Pics In The DMs of Instagram Influencers
In this episode, I give my response to a recent article by the Morning Chalk Up that highlighted the "Dark Underbelly of Instagram" as it chronicles some funny and seriously disturbing instances of female athletes receiving fucked up messages, images, and phone calls from some very lonely and depraved individuals.
Hope this one doesn't get me cancelled.

Shoot The Shit | Dr. Sean Pastuch
So here we are with the third episode of Shoot The Shit, my attempt at having long form conversations with people doing awesome stuff within the fitness industry and on this episode, I have someone who is most certainly inside of my inner circle of professional colleagues and friends, Dr. Sean Pastuch, the founder of Active Life.
Sean hosts several of his own podcasts and has been interviewed on numerous others, so if you're looking for his background and the repetitive stuff he's been asked a thousand times, you won't get that here.
We kick off the conversation discussing his need to walk around half-naked outside, a deep dive into his business model and future exit strategy, some girl dad advice and a whole lot more.
The thing I love about Sean is that we probably align on 98% of things from a business standpoint, but even that 2%, we hold our ground when arguing, we still respect the shit out of the other person's point of view - and that's exactly the kind of people I want to associate myself with...firm believers in their thing, with a willingness to partake in a good debate and then get beers afterwards.
OK, enough of me talking, let's get to it...
Ladies and Gentlemen, Sean Pastuch.

MADabolic's Director of Culture & Experience - Finley Funsten
Finley has a tenure of different roles within MADabolic.
She started as a client,
Evolved into a trainer,
Promoted to manager,
Eventually joined the ownership team,
and is now the Director of Culture and Experience for the entire company and franchises.
She's a badass individual that I have a ton of respect for and honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to get her on the podcast.
Hope you enjoy it!
