Jan is a Slovene architect who joined the London architectural scene in 2010 establishing himself at Squires before joining Northacre as a technical manager and being recognised as a rising talent and quickly promoted to lead the design department. Jan speaks very candidly and openly about his early obstacles in securing his first role in London, how he set himself apart and how he continues to hone his skills in what is developing to be a leading light in the design of some of London’s most aspirational homes. Episode 9 - Gary Mcluskey

In this episode Gary led me on a journey of his career, passions and motivations. We talked for nearly 3 hours and I'm only sorry we couldn't get more into this episode. He was a fascinating character who has never stopped asking why something is the way it is. He has, as an architect, questioned every aspect of a building and how its put together and at times gone well beyond what was expected of him to achieve the impossible. There is no doubt this level of focus and investigation is a sympton of his accelerating career and how he managed to reinvent and challenge himself constantly. Hosted on Acast.
