Dr. Dean Vafiadis received his dental degree and Prosthodontic specialty training at New York University College of Dentistry. He is currently the Director of the Full-Mouth Rehabilitation CE course at NYU. He is an Associate Professor of Prosthodontics at NYU College of Dentistry. He has lectures nationally and abroad for NYU Continuing Education department. Dr. Vafiadis published and lectured on various topics such as Aesthetics, Implant designs, Computer restorations, Ceramic materials and Occlusion. He is the founder of the New York Smile Institute in NY. It is an educational center, full service laboratory and learning facility as well as a private practice location for a multi-specialty practice for Implant and Aesthetic Dentistry. Currently he is lecturing for the Continuing Education program at NYUCD for Dental Districts in US, Europe and Asia. His patient base includes many Celebrities, Sports Figures, Fortune 500 Company executives, Producers, Directors and Writers in the film industry, Executives in the Fashion world and World renown Chefs and Restaurant Owners. He maintains his private practice Valentino Building near Rockefeller Center. Dr. Vafiadis primary professional mission is to educate, publish and invent new technologies that will help change the dental profession and patients lives.

In addition to her 17 years of clinical experience, Monica is an Executive Coach for Fortune Management, where she coaches teams on implementing tools and strategies customized to meet the individual needs of the practice. This includes customized programs targeted on excellent communication, scheduling for increased production, financial policies, accountability, and building a strong hygiene department. As a former client of Fortune Management, she believes in the teachings and that it is crucial for a practice to build a strong relationship with their patients by being extraordinary. Monica received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the College of Southern Nevada. She began her career with a leading Periodontal Practice, which specialized in state of the art dental technologies. She extended her hygiene career into sales, Brand Management, and a public speaker, focusing on preventive and esthetic procedures. This avenue inspired her to have a true passion for the business side of dentistry, thus leading her to obtain an MBA, . A past Global speaker and educational consultant, Monica has presented a wide range of topics to audiences throughout the world. She presents a variety of educational programs, while initiating and maintaining collaborative working relationships with dental and dental hygiene key opinion leaders and professional associations. Monica continues her clinical practice in Utah, volunteering with the Northern Component of the Utah Dental Hygiene Association. Outside of her career aspirations, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, and staying active through hiking, mountain biking, kickboxing, water sports, and snowboarding

Dr. Valerie Cooper is a private practice prosthodontist with a passion for dentures. Called the “Denture Queen” by her prosthodontics coresidents, the name stuck, and her love for removable prosthodontics grew with time. Dr. Cooper presents a systematic approach to digital denture treatment which she has been refining since she switched to all-digital denture fabrication in 2015. Dr. Cooper’s practices are located in Dayton, Ohio, her hometown. She owns a practice limited to prosthodontics as well as a general dentistry practice. Since 2014 Dr. Cooper has fabricated free dentures for patients in her community during National Prosthodontics Awareness Week, NPAW. Many volunteer lab technicians, students, and prosthodontists helped prepare up to 20 dentures in a single week with the conventional denture process. Once the process became all digital and required less human work, the focus turned to education during NPAW 2016 and 2017. In 2018 her plans are to fabricate more free dentures than ever before using 3D printing technology.

Before founding McCall Dentures, Dr Ryan McCall was a typical Midwestern boy from Effingham, IL, a small town with a population of 12,000. Growing up in close proximity to a farm, he was sure about two things, he didn’t want to live in close proximity to a farm forever and he wanted to own a red Subaru Outback! After graduating from dental school, Dr. McCall opened his first office in the super dank city of Fort Collins, CO. His initial marketing tactic was a $15 hand painted sign in the front yard. Fifteen months later, he opened another office and then foolishly spent a full year flying from Indianapolis, IN to Denver, CO running both offices. He knew there had to be a better way for himself and future dentists. 2 years later, McCall Dentures was born and the persona of 2 Chairz took flight. Today, Dr. McCall continues to be involved with the company as Executive Chairman. He is always finding ways to encourage and support others, from making charitable donations to offering leadership advice. Beyond spending time with his wife Meredith and their four children, his two favorite past times are playing video games and posting excessively on Instagram.Yes, he eventually did get that red Outback!

Brian McCarthy is the operation leader of Dentistry.com and Executive Vice President at Futuredontics, Inc. Brian joined in 2014 as Chief Product Officer, running the SaaS product line before becoming President of Futuredontics prior to its acquisition by Dentsply Sirona in 2015. He lead the team in defining the vision and execution of strategic goals, delivering value to dentists and consumer patients alike through the creation of products that drive interactions that lead to more dentistry, and empower the team in our mission to transform lives through dental care. He lives in Santa Monica with his wife and the last of his three kids who’s still at home. He is an avid tennis player.

Brett Wells is a practicing dentist and owner of Wells Family Dental Group in Raleigh, NC. An entrepreneur at heart, he opened a restaurant venture in 2014 called Tasty 8s gourmet hotdog company, partnered to launch a Twitter-based software service called Tweetbox, and most recently, in response to the growing need for dental insurance alternatives, launched DentalHQ. Dr Steven Roth grew up as a first generation American in New Haven CT watching his Hungarian holocaust survivor family build businesses and become successful because of opportunity and hard work. He Graduated Columbia University with a BS in Psychology and The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1985. After a one year residency Dr Roth jumped around working as an associate with several dentists before becoming an associate and then a partner on the upper east side of Manhattan. He has 3 children, loves golf, working out and yoga, and listening to all kinds of podcasts  Dr Roth learned how to do high quality operative and prosthetic dentistry by co treating patients for 2 years with his senior dentist which allowed him to become a confident practitioner that was not afraid to treat most dental problems. Dr Roth is proud to say he has restored the mouths of 2 Oscar Winners, several famous pro athletes, and many other wonderful and interesting people!. Dr Steve as his friends call him went through all of the Dawson Center, Frank Spear curriculum multiple times. He also studied with the Esthetic Advantage , Larry Rosenthal Esthetics courses, Dr. Bill Strupp, and numerous other courses. He tries to do at least 100 hours of CE every year and became a Faculty member at Spear Education. Dr Roth has worked to bring Myntsmile toothpaste to market and is currently helping build Bridge Solution, Greensky Patient Financing as the best possible solution for all patients.

As a leading practitioner, and speaker, David Landwehr, D.D.S., M.S. serves as a frequent teacher at events focusing on endodontics and oral pathology. Dr. Landwehr’s ongoing work as an opinion leader has positioned him at the forefront of modern endodontic treatment. Dr. Landwehr’s teaching focuses on techniques used daily in his clinical practice that are efficient, evidence based and attainable for any practitioner. A Wisconsin native, Dr. Landwehr studied as an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to earn his D.D.S. at the University of Minnesota. From there, he earned an M.S. degree and certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at The Ohio State University followed by specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Michigan. Since returning to Wisconsin in 1999, Dr. Landwehr has provided exemplary care to patients in a private practice setting
