Dr. Robert Bryan grew up in Southern Ohio, appreciating the friendly people and surrounding community. He was originally inspired to follow a career path in the field of dentistry after giving a speech in high school. Dr. Bryan enjoys the concept of working for yourself and the utilization of tools within medicine. The concept of working in science with the use of medicine is intriguing as he can perform both through oral surgery. After receiving a bachelor’s degree at Ohio University, he earned a dental degree, scholarship award, and went on to attend his surgical residency to become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Dr. Bryan went straight into the private practice environment at Oral Surgery Specialists of Oklahoma in 2006. Dr. Jeremy Goodson grew up with a passion for playing the trumpet. He aspired to play in a symphony with his passion for music. He fractured his teeth as a kid, and when the local dentists and oral surgeons fixed his condition, Dr. Goodson was concerned that his oral surgery would affect his ability to play an instrument. He realized that his treatment to restore his smile allowed him and many others to play successfully for years to come. Dr. Goodson has always enjoyed doing small things with his hands and reconsidered his direction of studies to medicine during his college years. Dr. Goodson and his wife moved to Oklahoma during his surgical residency to pursue a new opportunity. He decided to join a private practice environment to work one on one with patients to provide the very best care and get to know people as if they are family. He began working at Oral Surgery Specialists of Oklahoma and loves to help our patients regain their oral health, function, and smile.

Dr. Porter Jones founded and was CEO of Dr. Porto, a chain of medical and dental clinics in Sao Paulo focused on providing high value patient care to the medically underserved. Prior, Dr. Jones spent 4 years at Hospital Albert Einstein where he managed the oncology department as well as the medical practice division. He currently is the CEO of Boka Sciences, an oral health company focused on preventative care through the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of xerostomia. Dr. Jones is a graduate of the University of Utah School of Medicine and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Dr. Koff is a general dentist in private practice in Colorado Springs, CO. He has traveled and done dentistry in a number of countries, starting in 1985 in China - sometimes as a volunteer, sometimes in a paid position. He prefers a small dental practice, one on one to develop personal relationships with patients and keep the overhead low to allow flexibility to take time off and enjoy life outside the office. Dr. Koff has traveled and worked in a number of foreign countries, including China, Russia, Madagascar, Romania, and Israel. He currently works part time in Antarctica and Alaska Aleutian Islands and is a consultant for the US Antarctica Program for dental treatment for research and support personnel at the US research stations.

Ophir Tanz is an award-winning entrepreneur and technologist. He is the founder and CEO of Pearl, an AI company focused on solving fundamental and challenging problems in the dental industry. Previously Ophir founded and led GumGum, a company focused on applying AI and computer vision to the media category, which he grew to several hundred million in revenue globally. Ophir received his Bachelor’s and Master’s from Carnegie Mellon University. Jessica Ann Rickert, D.D.S. is the first female American Indian Dentist in the world.  Dr. Rickert attended the University of Michigan from 1968 to 1975.  In 1975 she established a private dental practice.  From 1975 to 1982, she was the director of the dental clinic at the Children’s Aid Society, a private agency for foster-care children in Detroit; there she initiated programs in preventive dentistry and orthodontia as well as providing general dental services. From 2007 to 2010, she has provided general dental services for the Department of Corrections of the State of Michigan. In 2011, she provided general dentistry in the Michigan Community Dental Clinics on a full-time basis.  Currently, she is a clinical dentist at the Family Health Care Organization in Michigan. Dr. Jessica A. Rickert treats each patient with compassion, confidence, competence and kindness.

Dr. Svoboda wants to talk about Dragons … about the Old Dragons of Dentistry. They have been frustrating the efforts of dentists for over 100 years. They are the root causes of treatment complications, directly related to current prosthesis installation techniques. It is good to get to know those dragons and tame those dragons, because when they bite your patients, your patients might want to bite you … and that’s not good for your health or your business. Dr. Kenworthy attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate education. He received his BDS and DDS degrees from the University of California at San Francisco, and his orthodontic certificate and a Master's degree from the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. His writings have been published in the Journal of Orofacial Pain, the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, the European Journal of Orthodontics, and the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, completing his term as president of the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists in 2016. He has not had impression trays or alginate in his office since 2014.  This has allowed him to become more accurate and efficient in his delivery of custom orthodontic solutions. He is immersed in digital orthodontics and enjoys sharing the solutions he has found. Dr. Kenworthy's Missoula, Montana practice supports all the fun he, his wife, and their five boys can find.

Danielle Cline took to the dental front office like a duck in water when she started in 2007. She became an expert on dental insurance and was determined to educate not only her patients, but anyone who called to ask a question. Today she not only provides consulting services for dental teams in the Austin area but she is launching her new company, Dental Mama. With Dental Mama she will take her knowledge directly to the people who are confused, frustrated, and most deeply impacted by their dental plans: Patients! She knows that virtually no one understands how their plans work when they come to the dentist, and believes that consumer-based education will positively impact experiences for patients and dental teams. Her company, Cline Consulting, focuses on team-building and treatment acceptance. She believes clear language, excellent verbal skills, and a strong knowledge of dental insurance as well as financial options help set patient expectations. A confused patient will be less willing to accept treatment and more likely to leave negative feedback. Danielle loves to help dentists understand their own vision and use that to give the entire team purpose. She believes that this is necessary to building a successful practice with patients who will rave about their experience.

Noted as a key risk management and compliance expert in dentistry, Cary has provided training programs for dental schools, ASDA, private practices, dental groups, Texas Dental Association, American Association of Dental Office Managers, and Seattle Study Club. Cary is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management from the American Hospital Association and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. And a Certified Insurance Counselor from the National Alliance. His professional background includes 15 years of risk management experience in dentistry and 11 years of corporate HR leadership at Motorola, CIGNA Healthcare, and The Hartford Insurance Company.
