John Pohl was born and raised in Bemidji, MN, the home of Paul Bunyan and Jane Russell (not necessarily in that order). In 2007 he decided to pursue a long-time dream and open a strategic marketing agency focused on the dental industry. John named the agency 14th Floor Solutions and made himself the CEO: Chief Elevator Operator. Over the past 13 years John has had the good fortune of working for a wide variety of dental clients, many of whom remain clients. Most importantly, John has been married for 38 years to Mary, whom he first met in grade school, whose twin sister married his best friend from prep school, and whose father was his 7th grade basketball coach and 10th grade football coach. John and Mary have two children: Max, a teacher and entrepreneur living in Tokyo, and Lizzie, who works as an analyst for the Office of the Mayor in New York City.

Dr. Christian Thomas Yaste is passionate about using technology and find-ing cost effective solutions for dentists and patients. He has spent his entire career as a student of patient attraction strategies and communication skills for case acceptance. His greatest accomplishment, and what he is MOST proud of is having been a part of the development of an Insanely Awesome and Successful Dental Team and Practice Culture!

Dr. Mike Dostal completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas, and continued his dental degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Since then, he is recognized as an expert in comprehensive restorative treatment using implants, full arch implants, full mouth reconstruction, and orthodontics. Dr. Mike has a Midwest heart thru and thru, but that doesn’t keep him in one spot. He has invested hundreds of hours in implant and full mouth reconstruction training. This routinely takes him across the continental US to assimilate the latest research and techniques. Dr. Mike’s commitment to education is demonstrated by his membership to the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, International Association for Orthodontics, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists where he has achieved Fellowship status. His latest endeavor, extending his passion for dentistry, includes mentoring other doctors with a focus on practice growth and implants.

Dr. Aalok Y. Shukla is a healthtech entrepreneur with a clinical background in dentistry. He focuses his work on teledentistry and artificial intelligence to deliver a scalable, data driven approach to oral health care. After running his private practice for 7 years, he sold it in 2016 to focus on the unmet demand for accessible, affordable orthodontic care. He Co-Founded Straight Teeth Direct™, an innovative app and platform offering fully supervised mobile treatment with European dentists and users in 61 countries globally. He more recently launched a second platform focused on dental health, Instant Dentist, to democratize access to oral care and offer a new preventative and continuous practice model.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Dr. Gurinsky attended the University of Texas at Austin and then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and completed his residency in Periodontics and Dental Implants atThe University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He currently maintains a full time private practice in the Denver and Centennial areas.

Danielle Ichelson, CEO of Dental Accounts at Ease, was a Las Vegas Showgirl on Ice turned Dental Practice Master. Danielle who had no desire to be in dentistry, as she was a professional figure skater, was brought into our field and found she was gifted at managing Dental Practices and understanding all areas of the Billing Department. While many others have tunnel vision in their positions, she had a gift of seeing the practice as a whole. “One position does not work without the other” is her constant motto. She worked locally in Phoenix, AZ and made a name for herself that brought dentists knocking at her door after-hours to help. In 2013, after assisting a failing single dentist practice in Gilbert, AZ hit over $120,000 in revenue within 90 days through her restructure plan, she launched her idea of outsourcing her services around Arizona, not realizing it would become a need around the U.S. In 2017, after many years contracting solo, an expansion plan happened through their own SEO designer, and she turned Dental Accounts at Ease into one of the largest Dental Billing Companies in the nation.

Justin Krane is a Certified Financial Planner ™ professional and Fractional CFO. He is the founder of Krane Financial Solutions, located in Calabasas CA. Justin advises business owners in the dental industry to understand and get clear on the money side of their business. He teaches dentists how to be strategic with their business money so that they can grow their businesses - and build a plan to fund their personal goals. Justin believes that it’s not just about return on investment, but it’s about return on life. Justin works with dentists to create purpose driven financial plans.

Dr. Jason Genta received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Saint Louis University, and is a 2011 graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. Following dental school, he completed a 1 year AEGD at UCLA in Westwood California. In 2012, Dr. Genta moved to Chicago where he joined DecisionOne Dental Partners, who at the time, was a group practice with 4 locations. DecisionOne has now grown to 50+ dentists and 31 locations in Illinois and Wisconsin. Since 2016, he has served as Vice President of Clinical Affairs for the group, and plays an active role in Doctor Recruiting, Training, Mentorship, and New Practice Acquisitions and Mergers. Dr. Genta is passionate about the success of young doctors, and teaches a course titled “Life After Dental School” at multiple schools across the country.
