Dr. Sam Ahani is a general dentist who cofounded Shoreview Dental in Pacifica Ca. in 1997 along with his wife and partner in crime Dr. Sepi Vafi. He graduated with a degree in computer information systems from San Francisco state in 1989. More recently he founded refera.com a revolutionary dental referral platform. Sam has two Daughters, Elika and Nikka, and enjoys learning about technology and business, fishing, and Brazillian Jui-Jitsu. Sam’s most recent hobby is walking and listening to business podcasts of all kinds. Dr. Rowshan Ahani is a Board Certified endodontist and owner of Bayside Endodontics in Daly City, California. He attended UC Davis for his undergraduate degree, then went on the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he received his DDS degree in 1999. After graduation, he moved the State University of Buffalo, New York, where he earned his certification in endodontics as well as a Master’s in Oral Biology. He lives with his wife, Tina (also a dentist) and their 3 sons, aged 11, 13, and 15. As for hobbies, he enjoys an active lifestyle which includes snowboarding, fishing, and basically every outdoor activity with his wife and boys. Dr. Fonseca came to the U.S from Cuba after attending dental school at age 21. Upon arriving he immediately decided to continue studying dentistry. He attended the University of Florida where he got a Bachelor of Sciences in Microbiology. Then he went to Dental School at Indiana University where he got his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989. Since then, Dr. Fonseca has opened three dental practices from scratch and he attributes his success to choosing great locations, owning the real state, working hard and providing 24 hours emergency service. He enjoys taking dental courses and attending dental conventions in the US and other countries. He is past president of the Miami Dade Dental Society and continues being involved in organized dentistry. Besides dentistry, he is passionate about networking and politics and on the personal side he has a son who is in law school and he enjoys traveling and cruising. Seth Calish attended Florida State University and was a brother of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, is an Eagle Scout, and later earned a Master’s in Medical Science at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He is currently a 3rd Year Dental student in Florida and has held many leadership positions such as President of his Class, President of the Dental Business Management Club, and ASDA District 5 Advocacy Chairman. Dr. Gantman graduated University of Montreal in 2012 after which he worked with native communities in Canada’s Northwest territories for 18 months.
