We sit down with Derek Russ, Wade Vegteveen and Chad Shelner to discuss how our work can be a place of worship. With various backgrounds of workplace experience from landscaping, to sales, to palliative medical care, these men provide real-life practical discussion of the life-giving but disciplined choice to worship God through our work.

We sit down with Dr. Jerry Sittser a professor emeritus of theology and senior fellow at Whitworth University. Jerry Sittser specializes in the History of Christianity, Christian Spirituality, and Religion in American Public Life. Students have voted him “Most Influential Professor” ten times. He has written nine books, among them “A Grace Disguised”, “The Will of God as a Way of Life”, and “Water from a Deep Well.” His latest book is the main focus of our discussion “Resilient Faith: How the Early Christian “Third Way” Changed the World.” This episode features hosts Rod VanSolkema, Libby VanSolkema, and Tryg Veker.

By the time we reach Genesis 15, Abram is frustrated, and the Lord approaches him with comforting words and then initiates a shocking covenant that completely flips upside down all of our preconceived notions about how we relate to God.
