NYC Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted on federal charges including taking bribes from foreign nationals in exchange for certain favors. Prosecutors say Adams accepted illegal campaign funds, free hotel rooms and upgraded flights from Turkish nationals in exchange to waive off fire inspections of the Turkish Consulate in Manhattan. Adams has denied any wrongdoing and vows to stay in office while facing forty five years if convicted of all accounts. The Israeli Defense Force is carrying out extensive airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon and have issued warnings to residents in southern Lebanon to immediately evacuate homes and other buildings if they know Hezbollah is storing weapons in them.
