NYC Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted on federal charges including taking bribes from foreign nationals in exchange for certain favors. Prosecutors say Adams accepted illegal campaign funds, free hotel rooms and upgraded flights from Turkish nationals in exchange to waive off fire inspections of the Turkish Consulate in Manhattan. Adams has denied any wrongdoing and vows to stay in office while facing forty five years if convicted of all accounts.
