Proper management means following the guidelines, yet the research says practitioners in the US often use standalone steroids, surgical referrals, and opioid medications in non-concordant care. What are the guidelines? Are you compliant? If your patients are already dealing with chronic pain, how can you manage their cases successfully? When non-drug therapies like laser therapy are provided, patients will be at much lower risk of alcohol and substance abuse, less suicidal ideation and attempts, and improved quality of life.
