Dr. Amin Tarzi, “Iran’s Maritime Strategies and Tactics”
Dr. Amin Tarzi is the director of Middle East Studies for the Krulak Center at Marine Corps University. He is also a senior non-resident Fellow for the Program on the Middle East at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. Dr. Tarzi regularly lectures on broader Middle Eastern security issues at US and foreign governmental institutions and think tanks as well as operational Marine Corps units. He is currently working on the maritime security and policy issues in the Gulf and in Eastern Mediterranean.

Dr. Yuval Weber, “Russian Private Military Companies”
Dr. Yuval Weber is the Donald Bren Chair of Russian Military and Political Strategy for the Krulak Center at Marine Corps University. Before joining the Krulak Center, he served as the Kennan Institute Associate Professor of Russian and Eurasian Studies at Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security in Washington, DC, where he taught courses on Russian politics and statecraft, International Relations theory, and research methods. He has also taught at Harvard University as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department on Government and a Kathryn W. and Shelby Cullom Davis Research Fellow at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies. He is a frequent guest on US and international media, including CTV (Canada) and CGTN (China) and publishes regularly to American and Russian newspapers.

Dr. Christopher Harmon, “A Focus on Asia – How Terrorist Groups End”
Dr. Christopher C. Harmon is the Donald Bren Chair of Great Power Competition for the Krulak Center at Marine Corps University. Before assuming duties as a Bren Chair, Dr. Harmon was a course director at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies in Hawaii. He has also worked as a Professor of International Relations at Marine Corps University, taught strategy at the Naval War College, and worked on foreign affairs for the House of Representatives. His previous publications include lead editor for Toward a Grand Strategy Against Terrorism, published by McGraw Hill; author of "Innovation & Historical Continuity in Great Power Competition," in the fall 2019 issue of the Marine Corps University Journal; and "Iran As Competitor: Measured, Violent, Relentless," a paper published on the Krulak Center website in May 2019.
