

Dr. Christopher Harmon, “A Focus on Asia – How Terrorist Groups End”
Dr. Christopher C. Harmon is the Donald Bren Chair of Great Power Competition for the Krulak Center at Marine Corps University. Before assuming duties as a Bren Chair, Dr. Harmon was a course director at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies in Hawaii. He has also worked as a Professor of International Relations at Marine Corps University, taught strategy at the Naval War College, and worked on foreign affairs for the House of Representatives. His previous publications include lead editor for Toward a Grand Strategy Against Terrorism, published by McGraw Hill; author of "Innovation & Historical Continuity in Great Power Competition," in the fall 2019 issue of the Marine Corps University Journal; and "Iran As Competitor: Measured, Violent, Relentless," a paper published on the Krulak Center website in May 2019.
