Casey Adams, fellow Virginian, is an incredible example of what is possible when you decide to take your life and your future into your own hands by putting yourself on the path of personal development and saying "Yes!" to opportunities that others may not think twice about. While he was a sophomore in high school something happened that would change the direction of his life forever. He was diagnosed with interspinous ligament damage while playing football and was told that he could have potentially been paralyzed. During this time in his life he was told by the doctors that he would never be able to play football again. This was shocking news because football was his absolute passion. Furthermore, he was told that he had to be in a neck brace for over 10 weeks. All of this negativity came into his life so quickly and he became very depressed and had no idea how to handle the situation.
