Everyone has intrusive thoughts. But if you live with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder? Well, it becomes something much more extreme. You get stuck on your thoughts, and you can’t move past them. But Relationship OCD is something you’ve probably never heard of. And it’s a type of mental ill-health that affects a surprising number of people. On this episode of No Filter, Penny Moodie speaks very candidly, and vulnerably, about her experience with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Relationship OCD. Everyone's Talking About Tony Armstrong
Tony Armstrong is the most talked-about new talent in the television industry right now. Everyone is talking about him. Every media company wanted to sign him. And if you don’t know who Tony is yet, you will soon. Tony is a proud Barranbinya man. He was raised by a single mum in Sydney’s West, and he started playing AFL at a young age. He made it all the way to the top. Sort of. He played for the Adelaide Crows, Sydney Swans and Collingwood, and after 7 years playing footy and only 35 games over that time, Tony walked away from AFL. He failed. And he’ll be the first person to tell you that. THE END BITS: With thanks to Tony Armstrong. Feedback? We’re listening! Inside The Life Of An Elite Gymnast
No matter how much you know or care about gymnastics, you couldn’t have escaped the story of Simone Biles during the Tokyo Olympics. Every four years, we watch these young women flipping and flying high in the air in their sparkly leotards, and we seem to forget about the expectations they have riding on their shoulders, and how incredibly dangerous what they do is. The sheer physicality of their sport is amazing, but it’s also a lot. And this is something that Australia’s Olivia Vivian knows all about. She started in the sport when she was just eight years old. She represented Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and later became a household name on the hit show Ninja Warrior. On this episode of No Filter Olivia sits down with Mia to talk about what life as an elite gymnast is actually like… THE END BITS: With thanks to Olivia Vivian https://www.instagram.com/oliviavivian/?hl=en The documentary Olivia was talking about is called Athlete A on Netflix GET IN TOUCH: Feedback?
