The Day Renee Found Out Her Father Was A Murderer
Growing up, Renee McBryde thought she had an ordinary life. She was raised by a young, single mum in Sydney, spent time with her grandparents every weekend, and her dad wasn’t around - in fact she’d never met him but they spoke on the phone every week. It was during one of those phone calls, on an ordinary Saturday night, that Renee would suddenly realise that her family was not in fact ordinary. They had secrets that spanned generations and trapped Renee, and her family in a cycle of trauma. This is her story… END BITS: Support Mamamia here.
