When federal prosecutors in New York previously tried to obtain search warrants for Giuliani's property they were blocked by the hierarchy in Bill Barr's Department of Justice. It now looks like the era of Bill Barr's free pass for Donald Trump associates is officially over as federal agents executed search warrants on Rudy Giuliani's home, office, computers and cell phones. Rather than use the available provisions of the North Carolina law to seek release of the videos that show the last minutes of Edward Brown, Jr's life, the Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office decides instead to show only 20 seconds of one (of 7) videos of the fatal shooting. The Biden administration just revealed additional proof that the Trump campaign colluded with Russian intelligence to cheat/gain unfair advantage in the 2016 presidential election. Search warrants require that law enforcement authorities have probable cause to believe that there is evidence of a crime in the place or thing to be searched.
