Covert narcissists are often difficult to spot because they appear humble and withdrawn. However, if you know what to look for, there are several key signs that can help you identify a covert narcissist. One of the most common indicators is a constant need for validation and approval. Covert narcissists are also often hypersensitive to criticism and will go to great lengths to avoid any perceived threats to their ego.
