Shepherding Words (5) | Forgiveness and the Building Up of the Body of Christ
Finally, be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil, For our wrestling is not against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlies. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:10-13.
As believers who love the Lord and who are standing for His testimony, we must not be ignorant of the schemes of God’s enemy in his attacks on the church. In order to help educate and inoculate us against such attacks, the co-workers in North America have released a series of articles on ShepherdingWords.com, which expose the stratagems of the devil.
This week, we have a narration of the article entitled “Forgiveness and the Building Up of the Body of Christ,” originally published on March 31, 2021. In the New Testament, the matter of forgiveness is intimately tied to the practice of the church life. In fact, forgiveness is a crucial factor in practicing the church life for the building up of the Body of Christ. Using examples from the Word and from Witness Lee’s ministry, this article clearly lays out this relationship so that we may learn to forgive one another as God in Christ forgave us (Eph. 4:32; Col. 3:13).
May the Lord supply us through this speaking and equip us to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Carrying out the New Way (5) | Migration
"Acts 8:4 says, 'Those therefore who were scattered went about the land bringing the good news of the word.' It was sovereign of God that the scattering of the believers from Jerusalem to other localities through the persecution should carry out the spreading of the gospel..." (Witness Lee, Life-study of Acts, Message 22. Living Stream Ministry.)
Today's episode concludes the series entitled, "Carrying out the New Way," with excerpts taken from a time of fellowship with the working saints in Anaheim, California on July 4, 2009. In this fellowship, brothers Benson Phillips and Gerald Chan shared their burden regarding our migration. As the Lord scattered the believers in Acts 8, may He scatter us today for His ultimate move!

Carrying out the New Way (4) | The Ministry of Prayer
The Lord’s move can be as slow as a wagon or as fast as an airplane; it depends on our learning to cooperate with the Lord in and through prayer. Shepherding Words (4) | Three Foundational Truths and Why They Matter
Finally, be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength. In order to help educate and inoculate us against such attacks, the co-workers in North America have released a series of articles on ShepherdingWords.com, which expose the stratagems of the devil.
This week, we have a narration of the article entitled “Three Foundational Truths and Why They Matter,” originally released on October 26, 2020. This article clearly presents three categories of truth—the Triune God, God’s salvation in life, and the ground of the church, and why they matter to God’s eternal purpose. For decades, the teaching of these truths in the Lord’s recovery have been misunderstood and even opposed. Therefore, it is vitally important that we as God’s people would know and enter into these truths, and be equipped to defend them (2 Tim. 2:15; 1 Pet. 3:15), for the accomplishment of God’s eternal economy.
May the Lord supply us through this speaking and equip us to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
