This podcast delves into Mao Zedong's essay 'On Contradiction' and its relevance to understanding and transforming political, social, and spiritual contradictions. Topics covered include the two world outlooks, the universality and particularity of contradiction, dogmatism, revisionism, and reformism. In the first half of the show, I discuss some of the history that leads up to the Salvadoran Civil War and the assassination of Romero in 1980.
