Reuben has worked on a number of hit records, perhaps most notably the 2014 international sensation 'Happy' by Pharrell. Today, I'm having a GAS with Rob Henderson, a promising young intellectual at the University of Cambridge. Rob grew up in foster homes in California. After working as a busboy, a dishwasher, and supermarket bagger, he joined the Air Force at the age of 17. Most of his enlistment was spent abroad, stationed in Europe and deployed in the Middle East. After serving, he attended Yale on the GI Bill and was subsequently awarded a Gates Cambridge Scholarship. Once described as “self-made” by the New York Times, he is now a doctoral candidate in psychology at St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge. He served as executive creative director at R/GA and helped build the company from scratch to over 75 employees in just two years. Previously he established the creative arm of ACNE in the US as partner, creative director and director. He also held executive creative and innovation positions at award-winning game development studio Toca Boca and Goodby Silverstein & Partners.
