Today, I'm having a GAS with Laura Jordan Bambach, President & Chief Creative Officer at Grey London.
Laura is also founder of SheSays & Oko, a speaker, author and artist. An award-winning creative with a long history of innovative commercial work, Laura is a firm believer in the power of creativity to make positive change.
In her role at Grey London, she leads one of WPP’s most creative agencies.
Under her stewardship as founder and CCO, creative agency Mr. President was awarded Agency of the Year by The Drum and AdAge, and independent agency of the year in Campaign.
One of the world’s few female Chief Creative Officers, she is former president of D&AD, has recently been named one of Britain’s most influential people within the Debrett’s 500 annual list for the second year running, scooped up Individual of the Year at the Dadi Awards and been awarded an honorary doctorate for her services to graphic design from University of the Arts London (Norwich).
In 2018 she received the Alumni Award for Art and Culture from the University of New South Wales.
She was one of BBC’s 100 Women in 2018.
Laura is also a co-founder of SheSays, a global volunteer network which works to get more women into the creative industries. With over 40,000 members operating in 43 cities worldwide SheSays includes mentoring, events and the annual VOWSS showcase of the best film work made my women around the globe. She is also a co-founder of The Great British Diversity Experiment, the largest practical experiment in diversity and its contribution to commercial creative practice.
She lectures around the world extensively and has been invited to be part of the Facebook Global Creative Council, a think tank to help steer the future of social media.
She has been a jury member or chairman on many prestigious industry awards including D&AD, Cannes Lions, ANDYS, The British Arrows, Campaign Big Awards and Creative Circle.
Laura continues her arts practice exploring areas of identity and gender; and is also a trained taxidermist.

Today, I'm having a GAS with Franki Goodwin, Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi London and Executive Producer at Western Edge Pictures – her Feature Film Production Company.
After graduating from Glasgow School of Art, she started Franki&Jonny – a design and digital agency for entertainment brands. For ten years, they developed integrated, award-winning movie campaigns. Franki was recently credited by the FWA as a ‘Digital Pioneer’ for her work in this period.
In 2011, she started to develop her own films and the marketing strategies around them. Credits include “Prevenge”, which opened Venice Critics Week 2016 and 'Pistorius' the Amazon Original Series which launched globally in 2018.
She joined Saatchi in 2013, bringing her unique digital expertise and storytelling skills to an integrated advertising role, as creative lead on multiple clients including HomeAway, Direct Line, Deutsche Telekom and Betway.
Franki has won over 100 international creative awards including a BAFTA, a few Gold Cannes Lions, Clios and D&ADs. She has also been honoured to be a judge for the Cannes Lions, the Royal Television Society, The Creative Circle and has appeared on panels about everything from Movie Posters to Virtual Reality.

Having a GAS with...John Paterno
Today I'm having a GAS with John Paterno, a Grammy-winning music producer, mixer, composer, engineer, mastering engineer, and musician.
Dubbed ‘Mr Meticulous’ by industry writer Mr. Bonzai, Paterno is known for his attention to detail while at the same time allowing artists to feel uninhibited in their creativity.
John moved to Los Angeles two weeks after graduation from the University of Miami MUE [Music Engineering] program. A short period of freelance assisting concluded with a staff position at Sunset Sound/Sound Factory in Hollywood, where for five years he was exposed to many great engineers, producers, and artists.
After breaking out of assisting, John worked with a wide range of producers including Mitchell Froom, Joe Chiccarelli, Byron Gallimore, Celso Valli, and Stephen Duffy. He won a Latin Grammy for his work with artist/producer Soraya. John has produced or co-produced projects for Gov’t Mule, Michael Landau, Caleb Henry, Andrew Synowiec, The Black Mollys, Mitchell Froom, Lustra, Robbie Williams, The Lilac Time, and many other artists. He has also co-written songs with artists and has written pieces for TV and film.

Today, I'm having a GAS with Pedro Bromfman, a prolific music composer working in film, TV and video games. Pedro's most well-known work is arguably the score for the recent triple-A game 'Far Cry 6'. However you could be forgiven for only being aware of his score for the smash hit Netflix series 'Narcos'.
