In this episode Sean, Bill, and Bob got together to reflect on the week and the impact this event has on our great industry.

Fresh off their successful event at Gleneagles in Scotland the Daniel Energy Partners team stepped into the Flecha Azul podcast studio and reviewed the week that was and their key takeaways from the event. The crew also looked forward at their events to come especially the wildly popular Permian Basin BBQ Cook-off which is only weeks away. In our first podcast of 2022, John and Bill talk about the NAPE summit, review the state of the OFS market and discuss some 4Q earnings observations. The team is gearing up for more trips to the field and our THRIVE conference February 23 and 24.

In this episode, guest host Josh Lowery interviews John Daniel and Sean Mitchell about their recent BBQ in Midland.  Josh does a nice job of discovering the origins of the DEP BBQ and how these two have created an event like no other in the Permian Basin.

In this episode the DEP team sits down with Patrick Finney, VP of Completions at Chesapeake Energy, to talk about a recent trip to the Marcellus to visit Halliburton’s electric frac fleet.   We discuss some of the obvious benefits of the electric fleet and Patrick shares some of the key stats from Chesapeake’s first pad in PA.  In addition to the Zeus Electric pump that deliver 5,000HP at over 22 bbls/minute, we discuss the other electric components on location as well as the power supply that can be used with this all-electric solution.   Patrick also shares some interesting insights on what  CHK is doing different on the completions side with wet sand completions, electric compression and CNG trucks to haul sand.

In this episode the DEP team talks amongst ourselves. John, Bob and Bill hit the general themes in the field (in no particular order), labor, customer demand and service cost pricing. Topical this week is the rise of COVID cases and initial signs it’s beginning to impact the field. We also have some takeaways from the second quarter calls for the big 3 in OFS.

The DEP team continues on with our third podcast episode. Sean and Bob were joined by Loren Singletary one of DEP’s Executive Advisors for part two in our recap of the Telluride Executive Series. We discuss Mark Mills' keynote speech, the various panels from the conference and the perspectives of ~70 upstream industry executives who attended. Access to capital for the industry, M&A, ESG, new technology in the oilfield and rig/frac count predictions were covered in depth. DEP Has Returned from our inaugural Telluride Executive Series where Mark Mills (Montrose Lane) was our keynote speaker.
