Episode 1935: The Richie Allen Show Tuesday July 16th 2024

Riche is joined by Ben Gilroy and Bill Scott. Ben came on to discuss the violent clashes between protesters and Gardaí in Dublin yesterday. The protesters oppose government plans to house over 500 migrants in an old Crown Paints factory in Coolock. The media has blamed the so-called "far right" for the violence. Political activist and citizen journalist Ben Gilroy sees it differently and discusses it with Richie. Bill Scott is 74 and lives with ADHD. He runs various adult ADHD peer support groups across the North East region. In fact, Bill has been working in ADHD support for over 13 years. Bill heard Richie making dismissive comments about ADHD and wrote him an email to put him straight. Richie invited Bill on and they had a fascinating conversation.
