Football is on the go today as Bob and John bring in two separate guests to cover everything going in the world of football on both sides of the border. We first talk to our good friend Pat Leonard about the surprisingly good football coming out of the NFC East before sending it over to Bob Irving for a breakdown on the Grey Cup featuring the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

It's always a pleasure when ESPN's Kevin Weekes joins the show to talk some hockey with Bob and John. The three focus on this years inductees into the Hockey Hall of Fame as Kevin shares stories about his interactions with the likes of Roberto Luongo, the Sedin twins and looks back on his most memorable moments with the late Herb Carnegie. We also spend some time towards the end of the show discussing the lack of diversity in the game of hockey and what needs to happen in order to grow the game even more.

Ending the week off with our good friend Richard Deitsch as the three discuss Kyrie Irving's suspension after a string of problematic behaviour and wonder what's next for the All-Star Point Guard before moving on to the Toronto Blue Jays and their off-season roster plans.

Hockey is on the docket today as Bob and John bring in Joe Micheletti & Greg Millen to talk about some of the surprising slow starts we've seen from some Stanley Cup favourites, the NHL's coaching carousel, this weeks Hockey Hall of Fame inductees and more.

John Herdman, one of our favourite guests on the show and the man who single handily converted Bob McCown into a soccer fan joins the show today from Bahrain as he and the Canadian Mens National Soccer team prepare for the country's first World Cup appearance in 36 years.

Today, we bring on our two soccer experts in Bob Lenarduzzi & James Sharman to give us all the info we need to know about our Canadian Men's National team heading into the FIFA World Cup hosted in Qatar.

Former captain of the St. Louis Blues, Stanley Cup Champion and current member of the Vegas Golden Knights, Alex Pietranglo joins the podcast to talk with Bob and John. We start the show by talking about Alex's team and their strong performance to start the season before moving on to how he's adjusted to living in playing in Las Vegas. The three go back and forth as we break down Alex's career from the Knights, to the St. Louis Blues all the way to his days playing minor hockey with the likes of Steven Stamkos and other NHL stars.

Hoops talk on todays edition of the podcast as Bob and John welcome Doug Smith back on the podcast. We talk about the Toronto Raptors and the start to their season with Doug giving us some insight on Nick Nurse, Christian Koloko, OG Annoy and the Raptors lack of bench production. After the break we shift our focus to the rest of the NBA but more specifically the Brooklyn Nets who have been dominating the basketball headlines this week.

Diving into the business of sports today with Senior Vice President of Media Rights for Octagon Sports, William Mao on todays podcast.
